This is a complete and utter scam. I received an email from 'The Ring Team', the epithet Amazon uses when contacting me regarding their Ring door bell products. The email offered a cut price Ring camera. I ordered one via email and filled in my Bank Details. I was not billed the price of the camera but £8.61 was taken from my account as the first recurring monthly fee for joining an entity called 'Always4tech.com' . There had been no mention of this arrangement prior to my purchasing the Ring Camera. I immediately contacted my bank to stop the transaction and any future payments. Future payments have been stopped but I've probably lost my initial payment to these Cyprus based fraudsters. Please take my experience as a warning.

I have an update. as of 16/01. I received an email from 'Scott' at Always4tech which included this line: 'it appears that there has been a misunderstanding regarding the operation of our website. A subscription was launched and, although it was subsequently cancelled, it appears that the automatic transition to membership occurred due to the terms of the trial period.' I did not 'launch' a subscription.There was no 'misunderstanding' I was led to believe I was purchasing something fro Amazon's 'Ring Team'. No mention was made of any third entity or of a subscription set-up. I did consequently receive a 'refund' of £4.04 - my bank could not stop the initial payment, only subsequent ones. Considering that Always4tech took £8.61 from my account originally, they have still kept half my money. I consider this a fee for making sure that I only buy directly from sites I can trust in future.
