The worse "language learning platform" ever.
1. It does not give you a clear learning curiculum.
2. Trashy learning material-AI generated slop.
3. The quizzes are shorts, but unpurposeful.
4. It's kinda like duolingo but worse.
Do not use this platform I beg you.

Partenariat de qualité depuis 2020
Depuis 2020, la plateforme Altissia est un partenaire essentiel dans les formations linguistiques à distance.
Ce qui nous séduit particulièrement, c'est la richesse et la structure didactique des parcours d'apprentissage, notamment les modules de vocabulaire, de grammaire et les sections d'actualités. Ces ressources complètes permettent à nos apprenants de s'immerger dans la langue, qu'il s'agisse du langage quotidien ou du vocabulaire professionnel.
L'outil de suivi Altissia est également un atout majeur. Il nous permet, en tant que référent de formation, d'analyser avec précision les progrès de chaque apprenant, de suivre leur temps passé et leur progression par niveau et par mission. La possibilité de consulter le détail des résultats aux tests de niveau nous offre une base solide pour fournir des conseils constructifs et personnalisés.
Nous apprécions la qualité de la plateforme et l'efficacité qu'elle apporte au suivi et à la réussite de nos apprenants. Nous recommandons vivement Altissia pour une formation linguistique complète et un suivi pédagogique de qualité.

Great platform to learn english from a global point of view
I have access to it with my university to learn englosh and I think it offers great topics to learn vocabulary. I also use the news section a lot to have info from everywhere around the world. Could be a bit funnier, videos are sometimes a bit old fashion but still usefull and good enough to train from my point of view ;)

My institution subscribed me and I felt the material does not help at all to learn.
One big defect is it does not teach you any language from a starting point (i.e., you don't know anything of the language). It just starts with everything in that language.
If you ignore that problem and already started the language before (including the ones with their own alphabet), it still lacks actually teaching and is only material to review and practice: videos and quizes that test your knowledge on a scale. Basically, not actually a tool that teaches you how everything in that language works.
Also the course offering is very scarce and they haven't updated more since the beginning (or maybe it were limitations of my institution's subscription)
Finally, I kept getting mail notifications from them even after unsubscribing.
Their support ignored my messages and closed the tickets even when demanding personal data to be deleted.
I'm currently waiting to see if my institution contacts them and solves everything.

Thank you for sharing your first impressions of our learning platform. We sadly regret that it didn't fit your needs.
We foster immersive exeprience when learning a language, that's the reason why all content are available in the target language. To have translations available on the course platform, we suggest you change the interface language in your settings (see the silhouette icon in at the top right -> Settings -> Change interface language). Following these steps will allow you, for example, to click on words in the instructions to have them translated into your language. For grammar rules, the use of colours and summary tables helps you understand the subject in a clear and structured way. On the vocabulary cards, you'll find images to help you.
It should be noted that the interface has been designed to immerse learners in a semi-immersive environment, which is why you won't find many translations in the various sections of the course.
Immersion involves a metalinguistic approach, using the target language for teaching and as a means of communication. The aim is to ensure the use of a broader range of cognitive mechanisms and increased intuitive sensitivity to the language, as well as receptivity and appreciation of the language being learned. As a result, your command of the language can develop like that of perfectly bilingual people.
Of course, this means greater effort at the beginning if you learn exclusively on the online platform, and that is why we encourage you to widen the scope of your learning by varying the channels you use: radio, television, internet and, above all, human contact with native speakers.
Concerning your personnal data issue, you should contact your insitution that is in charge of that matter. If needed, they will contat us directly.
We hope that our answer will help you in your language learning process, and that you will give our platform a second chance regarding our immersive approach!
