I completed the four day TMB experience from 11th September until 14th September 2025. Mark was our leader, who undoubtedly had great local knowledge and a high level of fitness. However, group care was lacking at times and the pace was rarely checked for suitability for all participants. In addition, there was limited time to absorb and appreciate the stunning surroundings, as the hike was often rushed with an emphasis on reaching the accommodation for that night despite there being little to do or see on arrival.

With regard to the accommodation, whilst a basic standard was expected, the facilities on the last night were unacceptable, with cold, damp bedding, no access to food and when it was served, was inadequate and cold. In addition, we appeared to be the only guests, with the attitude of the limited staff available being poor and at times, rude. We were forced to light a fire to keep ourselves warm and to source firewood, which we were then chastised for by hotel staff. The breakfast, which consisted of cornflakes and lukewarm water for tea and coffee, did not provide the nutrition required for the tough hike ahead. I feel the price did not reflect the standard of either food or accommodation provided.

However, a major positive was the comradery and ultimately the fun we had with the group, in stunning surroundings and the basis for great memories. I feel the trip should be advertised more clearly, with reference to shared hostel accommodation and limited access to food with appropriate nutritional value.

I note from the reply to my review that it suggests Mark paid for the cheese boards. This is untrue. We paid for this ourselves at the cost of 80 euros. It is disappointing that this was added in such a manner.

I just completed the Tour du Mont Blanc 4 day highlights and it was amazing. Our guide Tom kept us informed and entertained along the way. The scenery was spectacular and a great group of people from all around the world. Fantastic experience I recommend to anyone.

I recently completed a section of the Tour du Mont Blanc with Alps Adventures. Mark was our guide he was very knowledgeable about the area and told us some great stories and facts. I felt he rushed the hike and really could have done with another guide as we were left to continue on part of the hike ourselves when one lady suffered severe cramp and had difficulty walking. As for the accommodation in Vallorcine. I wasn't expecting luxury as I've done hikes like this before but the hostel we stayed in on the last night was horrendous, cold, damp and wet couldn't even buy snacks let alone food. We had our lunch around 1 o clock arrived at the hostel about 4 and no food until 7.30.
Breakfast was another issue, 2 mornings we had granola and yogurt, the third morning.... cornflakes, not what you should be eating for sustainance on a long fast paced hike .
Luckily the other group members had a great team spirit and helped make some fun memories the views were outstanding

I have just spent 4 days walking part of the Tour du Mont Blanc with Ben and Sandy, our guides.
This was my first experience of this kind of tour and I was not disappointed . The walks each day were sometimes easy, sometimes strenuous , but always fun and the scenery is to die for. We stayed in Hostels so if you want luxury, go somewhere else but that is part of the experience. Ben and Sandy were engaging , fun and full of information.
I thoroughly enjoyed this Tour and will be looking for my next one soon.

We did Tour du Mont Blanc Highlights with Alps Adventures and had amazing time. We had stunning views of the Alpine peaks every day. Our guides Mark and then later Tom were fantastic with abundance of knowledge which they passed on to us. The routes were challenging but everyone in the group managed to finish the tour. The food at the hostels could be better and don’t expect luxury but overall the experience was memorable and so rewarding. Definitely recommend it.

My three friends and I just finished an epic section of the Tour du Mont Blanc with Alps Adventures. The trip was really well organised and Mark and Tom were excellent guides, making the trip fun, informative and safe! We got to spend time together as a friendship group and made new friends from all over the world. We stopped to recover when needed and to take the most beautiful photos. It was really tough in places but also really relaxing in others - like trekking through an Elvenden forest. I was new to multi day hiking and staying in lodges- but no longer! I now have a bank of memories beautiful breathtaking views and fascinating conversations that my mind can draw on when real life kicks in. Amazing!

We had such an amazing time on the Tour du Mont Blanc with Tom! I highly recommend going on a trip with AlpsAdventures. Everything was very well organized and we had a lot of fun.

A fantastic experience that was incredibly well organised. Our guide was awesome! very knowledgeable and lead us all on our journey through the mountains and into friendships and good times. I have zero complaints. The accommodation was lovely with good food!

This hiking trip was nothing short of spectacular. Over four days, we were treated to some of the most jaw-dropping alpine scenery imaginable with the majestic Matterhorn towering above us like a sentinel of the Swiss Alps. Each day brought new trails, panoramic vistas, and moments of pure awe.
The route was well-planned, offering a perfect balance of challenge and reward. From lush valleys and lakes to rugged ridgelines and glacier views, the diversity of landscapes kept every step exciting.
Our guide, Tom was knowledgeable, friendly, a bit mad and clearly passionate about the region. he shared fascinating insights about the local ecology and culture, and made sure everyone felt safe and supported throughout the journey.
The accommodations were welcoming, with hearty meals that hit the spot after a long day on the trail. The sleeping is part of the experience and generally the group sleep in the same dorm. And the camaraderie among fellow hikers made the experience even more special.
If you're looking for a soul-stirring escape into nature with world-class views and unforgettable memories, this Matterhorn hiking trip is a must.

Just arrived back in Scotland form the 4 day MBT highlights tour and it was amazing! From start to finish it was so enjoyable, well planned out and our guide Mihai was great, awesome sense of humour and patient. He did like to tell us it was “another 20 minutes” but we all had a good laugh about that! Met some amazing people from all over the world, ate like kings and queens and the views were breathtaking, I would definitely recommend these tours and our tour guide Mihai.

I had an amazing 4-day Tour du Mont Blanc trek. Everything was brilliantly organised from start to finish, with excellent weather making it even more memorable. Our guide, Mihai, was fantastic – he made sure everyone felt included and kept the group motivated ('only 20 minutes left' ;)). The route, accommodation, and logistics were all seamless, which meant we could just focus on enjoying the mountains and the experience. Would highly recommend this trek (and Mihai as a guide) to anyone looking for a great adventure.

We just completed the Tour de Mount Blanc Highlights with Mihai as our guide. As reasonably confident hikers we originally booked the tour mainly as we didn't want to manage individual nights and transport bookings or contingency plans. But we found the Tour to be much more fun than if we had done it by ourselves. Mihai was fantastic setting a steady pace with plenty of rest stops. He constantly provided information and colour on the region and the culture.
The Group of 14 was filled with people with similar outlooks which made both the hiking and meals very sociable. The food at the accomodation was good. We will consider doing one of Alps Adventures other trips and would be more than happy if Mihai was the guide.

Everything was very well organised and the pre-tour information (videos on kit and packing lists) was well thought out. The walk catered for a wide range of abilities but do think carefully before making a commitment - some of the days are quite tough and you need to be in decent physical shape. Our guide Mihail was outstanding - very knowledgeable about the area and with a good sense of humour.
I am a 71 year old who had a Total Knee Replacement last year but it was well within my comfort zone. Good to meet with the younger members.

Very well organised 4-day Tour du Mont Blanc. I met the most amazing group of people and we had a very eventful and memorable trip! The variety of the hikes each day was so enjoyable, the accommodation was comfortable and the food was delicious!

Our guide, Ben, was great at organising a cake for a birthday in our group & was keen to show us the various mountains and landmarks as we went along.

I wish it had been longer and will definitely be booking another trip!

This is the 2 nd trip I have been on with alps adventures, and wow what an adventure it was,
Tom was an amazing guide, knowledgeable and yet full of humour, not a dull moment, yet he was caring and considerate to everyone’s needs, from the novice to the returning hikers, helping to push if we needed but continually offering support,
I can’t say a single thing wrong, the route which was beautiful and exhilarating, from the first climb to the longest suspension bridge, swimming in a lake and mastering a narrow ridge, which even I pushed myself on, and not forgetting the incredible Matterhorn, from the first sighting to following it around, was simply breathtaking
I really enjoy these trips, as whether with friends or solo, which the first I came by myself, and this time I brought 3 friends with me, and I got a wonderful surprise to also have two friends I made from the first trip returned as well, there’s more chance to make more new friends
The refuge’s were wonderful and the food was great and plentiful never an empty tummy, a welcome sight at the end of the day hiking. The rooms are sharing and I would say blindfolds and earplugs are a good idea to use but it’s always a pleasure waking up and saying good morning to everyone, one big family
Already planning the next, can’t wait!!!

Absolutely unforgettable!
I’ll admit, I was a bit nervous before the trip—questions swirled: Am I fit enough? Did I pack properly? What if I slow the group down? But those worries vanished almost instantly. Our guide, Tom, was nothing short of incredible! His perfect mix of humour, knowledge, encouragement, and genuine care set the tone for an amazing experience from day one.

We were a diverse bunch in terms of age and fitness, but Tom made everyone feel included and capable. Any self-doubt I had melted away thanks to his support and the positive energy of the group.

The company was fantastic, the food hit the spot, and the scenery? Absolutely breathtaking—every turn looked like a postcard. The entire trip was thoughtfully structured to build our skills day by day, and I learned so much, especially about hiking efficiently and preventing injury.

Now I’m hooked—I’m already counting down to next year!

I recently completed the 4 day Tour de Mont Blanc. It was a fantastic trip, I would highly recommend it.
Min, our guide was the best! She was very knowledgeable, extremely helpful and had a great sense of humour. Everything was communicated well and she really looked after us!
The hikes were challenging and beautiful. The itinerary allowed us plenty of time for the hikes, and time to enjoy evening meals and socialising.
This was my first trip like this and I would definitely book another!

I’ve just returned from the 4 day TMB highlights trip and can’t recommend it enough. Grigor was a 5 star guide and gave us loads of helpful tips including for packing and being comfortable in the refuges, as well as accommodating the range of different paces in the group whilst making us all feel safe. The scenery is unreal and there’s loads I would have missed without him pointing it out and explaining the wildlife and our surroundings. A truly memorable experience and I wholeheartedly recommend Alps Adventures.

We enjoyed a wonderful 4-day Tour de Mont Blanc trip. It was my first time on such a challenging hike, and I was a bit scared about whether we could manage for so many days, climbing and descending around 700-900m each day.
However, even though it was challenging, our guide Grigor knew how to let each of us go at our own pace while still staying together as a group. The landscapes are wonderful, and the group experience was also very pleasant. We were always helped by Grigor's very useful tips and tricks regarding equipment, food, and accommodation at the refuges and a lot of other things.
So, from the bottom of my heart, 5 stars for both the trip and for Grigor.
I hope we will find time to come back for the others trips.
