Since March..over 5 months and counting i have been waiting for my pension drawdown. I registered a complaint by phone with them in May ...no impact they said they are investigating..still no response so i will be contacting the ombudsman .I have read the other comments and concur the service is hopeless and unresponsive..they cannot be considered a company worth using.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
My god, this must be the worst pension company in the world, and any 5-star review here is definitely posted by a friend that works there. If you want any income, you will be lucky to get it in 6 months.
I have been working with my advisor, who has been trying to get my income for half a year now. Every time you email them with the outstanding issues, it takes them about 3 weeks to reply, and then they ask you for more stuff which could have been requested in the initial email.
Phone call? Good luck. We have tried 3 or 4 times a day for a few weeks, then gave up. If you do get someone, they will just say, "the person in that department is not free." You will be lucky if you get a good connection, as many work from home and use that as an excuse.
The thing is, they are dealing with pensions, this is our retirement and how they are acting is surely illegal. It was fine when it was PSG a few years back, but since Alltrust, as you can see from many of the reviews, they should be ashamed of how they treat clients.
And of course, this is not a recent problem, so they have had plenty of time to identify and fix it.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS FOR ANYONE THINKING OF USING THEM!

From networking internally to keeping me informed of progress was much more than I expected. Absolutely terrible
Absolutely terrible, like a SCAM! No one is responding on phone or email, been trying over a month to access my SIPP account. If Alltrust see this, CONTACT ME IMMEDIATELY.

Alltrust is an abysmal company to work…
Alltrust is an abysmal company to work with. It's communication with clients and financial advisors is poor at best and shocking at it's worst. In trying to withdraw money from my account, it is taken an extraordinarily long time, and the lack of communication is terrible. I requested the withdrawal over 4 weeks ago and to date I'm still waiting.
I had no influence on the use of Alltrust as they took over a previous SIPP company. I would not recommend anyone to use this company. They are appalling.

We would like to provide some context regarding your case. The payment is currently dependent on funds being received from a third-party provider. We were initially advised last week that these funds had been sent to us; however, we have since been informed that the transfer had not been completed. The provider has now confirmed that the payment is being sent to us yesterday (03/08).
In addition, as the nominated payment account is based in the United States, we were required to obtain some additional banking documentation to meet payment and verification requirements. We received the requested statements from your financial adviser yesterday and are reviewing these as a priority. We will confirm as soon as possible whether the documentation is sufficient to allow us to proceed.
We understand that, from your perspective, the process has taken longer than expected, and we apologise for the frustration this has caused. Please be assured that we are actively progressing the matter and working to complete the payment at the earliest opportunity once all requirements have been satisfied.

I am so surprised by virtually all reviews being negative. I have just made an had hoc withdrawal from RL360 and Alltrust and been assisted by a Lauren Russell at Alltrust. Sorry to disagree with everyone but I am being 100% honest when I say everything went to plan. I think customers need to understand that withdrawing from a SIPP is not like withdrawing from an ATM machine and plan their finances in advance. No complaints fro me at all. Lauren is a star.

Do not use this company
Do not - I can’t say this strongly enough - do not - use this company.
Every communication response takes a minimum of 3 weeks.
I’m told that my case is being treated with high priority - super escalated etc - meaningless lies.
It is clear that any paperwork sent in is not reviewed for at least 2-3 weeks before a response. Even if the question could have taken minutes to identify.
So - when you want to access your funds … it’s not going to happen quickly.
So - all I can do is warn you never use this company - stop using them before you actually need to access anything.

The large number of one-star reviews speaks for itself, but I feel it's important to share my own experience.
Over two months ago, my financial adviser requested a tax-free lump sum from my pension on my behalf. Despite this being my own pension funds, I have still not received the payment.
Throughout this period, both my adviser and I have repeatedly requested updates from a senior relationship manager. Unfortunately, communication has been poor, and despite numerous follow-ups, the funds have still not been released.
I am extremely disappointed by the apparent delays and what I consider to be unacceptable levels of service. The lack of timely communication and progress has caused unnecessary frustration and has significantly reduced my confidence in the company.
Unfortunately, I remain tied to Alltrust for another 14 months. As soon as I am able to do so, I intend to transfer both my pension and my wife's pension to AJ Bell.
For anyone wondering why I chose Alltrust, I didn't. My pension was originally held with PSG SIPP, and Alltrust took over the administration.
I find it difficult to understand how so many customers appear to have had similar experiences, yet there seems to have been little regulatory intervention. Based on my own experience, I would not recommend this company, come on FOS and FCA!!

Alltrust - more like NO TRUST
Alltrust have got to be the most useless financial services company operating in the UK.
Ring them up - no answer or if they do answer - no one currently available so will call me back (still waiting for the call back after 6 months!).
As for email, not sure they even read them as never get a reply.
It has taken 8 months for a simply SIPP transfer from Alltrust to AJ Bell when it should only take 6-8 weeks.
I simply got excuse after excuse and they even delayed the process by stating that their "internal process was pointing out that they need to point out the possible risk of being scammed". I am transferring to one of the most well known Financial institutions in the UK, so not sure how I could possibly be scammed and one of the main reasons I was transferring to AJ Bell in the first place was due to exorbitantly high charges by Alltrust.
No communication, no useful updates to explain where we are in the process, no nothing...totally shambolic and if it wasn't for me ringing them continuously to complain I would still be none the wiser!!
I was eventually asked to upload my ID through their Phone App Portal, yet they somehow managed to lose that info and after 4 months I had to do it all over again...!!
I could go on but there isn't enough room on the page, so I will sign off by saying there is absolutely NO TRUST in Alltrust - instead avoid at all costs unless you enjoy working with a living nightmare of a company...its a shame we cant give them zero stars as 1 star is one too many.

This company doesn't function
This company doesn't function. They have contact numbers but no-one answers the phone (except the property department). They have contact email addresses but you're lucky to get a response from them many weeks after emailing several times. You make a complaint and they don't even respond to that, not even a holding response. Shambolic. Alltrust? Don't trust!

As soon as the complaint was brought to our attention, we issued an acknowledgement the same day. A member of our team also contacted you directly on 5 June to provide an update, and we subsequently confirmed that a payment would be processed by 11 June, as agreed.
We recognise that delays in communication can be frustrating and do not reflect the standard of service we aim to provide. Your feedback regarding responsiveness, both by phone and email, is taken seriously, and we are actively reviewing these areas to improve our service.

I’ve only given 1 star as you cannot give zero stars. Absolutely appalling customer service , my pension transferred from PSG, it took many asks and two years to get a valuation and then it was at least a year old, and therefore pointless. In the end I decided to transfer out a like for like SIPP and we are now 5 months into an estimated 8 week transfer. Badly named company and very misleading

Terrible service.
If you, as I have been, unfortunate enough to be dumped on this company, then I suggest you trasfer out. The SIPP dept are just downright unproffesional and rude. 9 days and no response to my email, 3 subsequent ones sent. Finally recieved a reply stating the dept was busy. Im still awaiting a reply to another question. I see simliar reviews here, noted months ago. And managment still has not addressed the issue. Incompitent !

Like many other unfortunate people…
Like many other unfortunate people here, I got dumped with this company when they bought out another SIPP provider. It’s hard to know where to start to describe just how inept they are! If you are thinking of using them, my very strong advice would be to avoid them like the plague. I reside is the US and have a NT (no tax code status) meaning I only pay tax in the US under the tax treaty between the 2 countries. When I eventually got some of my money out of them, after 10 long weeks of back and forth (don’t bother with email, they don’t reply). I resorted to calling them
every other day to get them to send me my money. Instead of asking me about my UK tax position, they applied 40% HMRC tax and sent the money with this amount deducted. I am truly speechless and am now going to move to another SIPP provider who knows what they are doing. Their people are very nice and I was careful not to lose my rag, but the left arm has no idea what the right arm is doing and they need to brought to book by the UK authorities and fast. Hopefully when the $7et hits the fan, I will no longer be tied to them. I feel sorry for their staff and if I worked there I would be rapidly looking for another job. Is it possible to give less than 1 star? 😱

We’re very sorry to read about your experience. We appreciate that this can be frustrating, particularly where overseas tax treaties are involved.
To clarify, we can only apply an NT (no tax) code where HMRC has formally notified us of this status. Unfortunately, at the time your income payment was made, we had not been issued with an NT code for your SIPP. Following that payment, HMRC subsequently provided us with an updated tax code, which was not an NT code.
For all future income payments, we are required to deduct tax based strictly on the latest HMRC instructions we hold. If you believe an NT code should apply, HMRC would need to issue this directly to us via their payroll system before we are able to process payments on that basis.
We regret the delays and communication issues you experienced and are sorry this led to dissatisfaction with our service. Our team has been in contact to explain the position and to provide you with Alltrust Payroll information, should you need this when contacting HMRC.

Avoid Alltrust if you possibly can
We have a SIPP with Alltrust after it took over from another company and , honestly, they are a nightmare. They hardly ever answer any emails even when it is stated as urgently requiring a response....our last few emails have been ignored. They are taking a fee from us without doing anything for it. Avoid them if you can!!!

The worst customer service ever…
I have been trying to contact and discuss my pension with all trust for the last year and trying to Get in contact with someone is impossible. The fact that they manage my pension pot won’t respond to simple requests astounds me. Time to change pension management company!

I have been trying to do a pension draw…
I have been trying to do a pension draw down since 21 Dec 25 and to date no progress. The excuse is “we are experiencing higher than expected demand”. When I was able to speak to someone I was told they’d lost staff but he would escalate my situation. Still nothing and we’re now at 5 Feb 26.

No complaints. Made an ad hoc withdrawal from my SIPP, which initially was not urgent, but when it did become urgent it appears to me that Alltrust stepped up the gas.
