Alevelacademic Arvostelua

I have A Level maths tutoring with the A Level Academic. She is very thorough and ensures we have exposure to a range of exam questions from the ones that ensure you have a good conceptual understanding of the topic to the hard exam questions. This tutoring has been very useful in consolidating my understanding of topics that I have already covered and learning ahead of the content in my school.

I've had lessons with the Alevelacademic for A level maths where we covered both pure and applied maths.

I really enjoyed the way the concepts were taught as new topics were much easier to follow and doing consistent practice during lessons strengthened my ability to apply the content to exam questions, which we also covered in lessons. This gave me more confidence, especially in the harder topics and filled in any gaps I had in my knowledge.

The teaching style was really well organised as we were guided through the content and given questions throughout lessons to make sure we grasped the concept and the exam technique well.

The TMUA sessions were very useful in giving me a foundation in the TMUA, as I was able to learn all the key content, especially for paper 2 and also build my problem-solving skills with the practice questions covered in paper 1 and 2. After each session, I was able to better understand the depth of skills and knowledge needed for the TMUA. Through consistent practice during lessons, I was able to notice patterns in certain questions and make links to different topics. This was especially useful when being guided through worked solutions of practice questions and being taught different ways of approaching them, including which methods saved the most time in the exam.

I would recommend the TMUA sessions to any student thinking of sitting the TMUA exam as it helped me target my weak areas and gain the skills I needed to manage my time and problem-solve in the exam!

Overall, I would recommend Alevelacademic to other students who are struggling with content/exam technique and those who need the space to ask questions and gain more practice in their weak topics.

I had Zahra tutor my son for A level Maths. This helped him a good deal to secure good marks and he ended up in Nottingham University and we are happy with the outcome.

I would recommend Zahra for A level Maths.

Thank you for helping my son, Zahra.

Received great support with A Level Maths. Got to practice with lots of difficult questions that made it easier to handle the exam, and was able to achieve an A grade!

Huge thank you to both Zahra and Dawood for getting me an A* in A-Level Maths! Zahra taught me all the exam technique needed for exams in just 6months. Dawood provided excellent UCAS support which has landed me today in Kings College London studying Maths. I couldn’t be more grateful for the support during my entire A-Level Maths journey. With Zahra’s help I achieved my target grade of an A in Mathematics. The structure and resources that the lessons provided were pivotal to my success. I am very grateful and I highly recommend alevelacademic tuition.

Miss Zahra is an amazing tutor who has helped me so much. Even though I only started tuition with her two months before my final A level exams, the improvement in my grades has been tremendous.

Before I started I lacked confidence in maths and often struggled to understand what the questions were actually asking me to do. However, with Miss Zahra's comprehensive booklet guides and the endless practice questions she provided, I developed a much better understanding of the topics and how to approach exam questions. This really helped me in my A-level exams!

She is also a very kind and supportive teacher. The group sessions are welcoming, friendly and completely non judgemental. I remember feeling nervous before I started but her kindness quickly made me realise there was nothing to worry about. Even if I didn't know the answer, I felt comfortable saying so and asked as many questions as I needed

I would highly recommend Miss Zahra to anyone looking to improve their maths confidence and grades!

This support from Miss helped me massively in terms of my confidence within maths and helped me understand harder topics within maths to a better understanding.

Zahra has been a great tutor throughout my A Levels. I found her topic booklets especially valuable, each one clearly explained the theory, included well-structured worked examples, and provided plenty of exam-style questions for practice. Whenever I was unsure about something, Zahra was always available to guide me. Thanks to her support and resources, I achieved A* in both Maths and Further Maths, and my confidence in the subject grew enormously.

Zahra has been a supportive tutor for my A Levels. As a maths student, I greatly benefited from the topic booklets. Each contained the theory to help my understanding, followed by worked examples with logical and clear working out. I was also able to practice the topics with the exam-style questions in the booklets. Whenever I was confused, my tutor Zahra offered support and advice both during and outside lessons.
