Very slow, not the best.

Ein katastrophaler Flughafen. Anstatt zu arbeiten, schlafen die Leute dort. Heute haben viele Menschen ihre Flüge verpasst, weil die Passkontrolle zu langsam war.
Spart euch das Geld. Jeder, der sich beschwert hat – inklusive meiner Familie und mir –, hat nichts bekommen, außer dass wir hin und her geschickt wurden, als wäre es nicht ihre Schuld, obwohl wir über 3 Stunden früher am Flughafen waren.
Drinnen ist es stickig, es gibt weder eine Klimaanlage noch Personal. Wie gesagt, spart euch das Geld, und wenn ihr die Möglichkeit habt, fliegt über Wien – dort sind die Bedingungen viel besser!!
Traurig, wirklich traurig.
Ich werde nie wieder dort einen Fuß setzen !!!!

This is the worst airport I have been to. Absolutely nothing here firstly. I had to wait over an hour to get through passport control. There were people begging to be let through as their flights were leaving without. It‘s an absolute disgrace. Once I got through, the only place to eat didn’t even have any paninis or pizzas when they advertised themselves as a pizza place. Such a joke. Staff are rude too. I will never be travelling from here again!

Yesterday we were at Bratislava Airport and arrived very late for our flight, but it was not our fault. The train from Salzburg was not running due to a road accident, and we were stuck on the train for two hours.
The security and passport control staff were very understanding of our situation. They made an exception for us, allowed us through, and were extremely polite and helpful.
However, the woman at the boarding gate was very incompetent, rude, unfriendly, and arrogant. She did not let us board the flight. I understand that the gate closes according to procedure, but there are always exceptional circumstances. She was so unprofessional that she did not even consult her supervisor or try to find any solution.
I asked to speak with the shift supervisor, but she left and never returned.
Such rude and unprofessional staff do not belong in an airport that otherwise has very helpful employees.

Uber no se presentó a recogernos , a mi y a mi esposa , en el aeropuerto de Bratislava 15 de mayo entre 13 y 13:05 frente a LLegadas como estaba acordado por email .
Nos hizo esperar 1 hora (entre antes y después de la hora acordada), hubiéramos ido directamente a un taxi . Pasados 20 minutos de la hora acordada y visto que no venía nadie a recogernos , hablamos con 2 taxis de Bolt que ponía también Uber . El primero se desentendió y el segundo nos mandó a otro taxi que nos cobró 40 euros hasta Bratislava

Really disappointed with staff conduct. Is life really that difficult that they can't even smile? There and back. Unhelpful and looking utterly miserable.
Seriously overpriced. If you want to grab anything from duty free avoid buying it at this airport.
One good thing - I can really recommend Eden Cars if you are looking to hire a car. Friendly, helpful and less than a minute walk outside the terminal.

Much better than the hostile Vienna airport. While Slovaks aren't known for friendly customer service, at least they're almost never openly hostile like the rude employees at the Vienna airport. I will never fly to Central Europe through the VIE airport so having the one in Bratislava is amazing. It's small, compact, never crowded and security check in is like breeze. It's good to support small, less crowded airports like this one.

I pre-booked wheelchair assistance for my flight from Bratislava.
On arrival, I used the designated assistance call point outside the terminal. No assistance was provided. I was instructed to proceed to check-in independently despite requesting support.
At check-in, I was required to pay a fee (€40–45) before any assistance was provided. A supervisor did not attend when requested; instructions were given remotely.
After check-in, assistance remained inconsistent. I was left at the gate without confirmation of boarding support, and my partner had to push the wheelchair himself. The ambulift was only arranged at the last moment.
This appears to fall short of the assistance required under EC Regulation 1107/2006, including provision at the designated point, continuous support, and avoidance of disadvantage due to disability.
I have video evidence of the above.

You ask them a question and they look at you you asking them to borrow money !

Over all very poor airport to travel to in terms of quality

I've been travelling through here for the last 12 years to pickup my son and this was the worst experience every going through security. They have 7 sections that can be used for 18 year old or older, then for anyone with kids under that, they have only 4 manged sections and if more than 1 plane lands at the same time the queues to get through are crazy. We spent 50 minutes getting through yesterday and my son nearly missed his train back home due to this.

If you going other city from bratislava they check your cabin luggage inc by inc . If ıts big 2 cm they charge you 75 euros, if backpack is not fit 60 euros for piece.

They are arrogant

arrogant unfriendly staff that ridicules you, no help or compassion at all

Misleading shiny new building from the outside. Dirty toilets no water fountain overpriced and poor quality cafes with few options. Told to get water from the dirty toilets (hot water) to take medication. Dour, arrogant unhelpful staff. Very few trolleys or seats. Felt like a third world experience, will avoid at all costs in the future.

Very disappointed with this Airport. The staff was really unfriendly, unprofessional and arrogant. Poorly organised, toilets dirty and poor service. The passport control don't really care, it's very unfriendly and unhelpful. Doesn't recommend to travel to this airport. Have very bad experience and will never come back to this Airport. If you can rather take a flight to Schwechat Airport in Austria which is just 30min drive from Bratislava.

Otrasná skúsenosť s personálom na BTS letisku.
Slovenska buzeracia v praxi. Letisko by si malo posvietiť na personál lebo toto nevrha dobre svetlo pre zahraničných turistov.
Keď sme prišli, musela som pomáhať staršiemu britskému páru s vybavovaním špeciálnej asistencie, keďže personál nebol schopný a oni boli z toho úplne rozčarovaní.
Pani na kontrole včera 7.12 2024 - čistá katastrofa. Keď som sa opytala či sa stále vyberajú sačky s tekutinami z batožiny iba na mňa zablačala či mám vodu, ja som odpovedala nie ale ona má nepočula, lebo bliakala medzi tým na niekoho iného. Moju jasnú otázku či treba vybrať sačky s tekutinami som teda zopakovala, na čo som ešte s viac zvýšením hlasom dostala odpoveď : “pýtala som sa vás či máte vodu !!!”. Absolútna nulová pomoc, vrcholná arogancia a povrchnosť.
A tá pani, ktorú tu všetci spomínajú (pravdepodobne je to tá istá čo tu v komentároch všetci píšu- pri tele, hnedé brčkave vlasy a arogantný vyraz tvar) tak to je tam čerešnička na torte. Toto je slovenska mentalita - odbavovanie sa na každom človeku , ktorého batožina má pár viac centimetrov. S touto istou spoločnosťou lietavam z Londýna a z Viedne a nikde nie je problém.
Žiaľ, toto je prvý kontakt turistov so Slovenskom- potom sa je tam určite radosť vracať!

Advertising our flight as On Time 10 min after the takeoff time. We are still sitting at the gate. No info passed to the passengers. Doent look efficient or transparent

Overpriced, would recommend flying from Vienna instead.

Choose Buchbinder again should be the last option for the horrible experience.
