Untrustworthy scammers

As many have explained here, Airmeet is trying so hard to get rid of their early adopters (lifetime deal owners). They revoked the lifetime deal and forced them to sign a new contract with ridiculous "free service" which they have to pay to do anything usable with it. Otherwise the lifetime deal you paid for is over.

Later on, they forced a banner in the event that bluntly states the name of the owner and organization, and that this is a lifetime deal purchased by appsumo, which is placed in a way to immediately strike the event attendee

Avoid them at any cost

SCAM SCAM SCAM , thats the tree words you need to remember when you see founders of Airmeet .

Airmeet is inefficient with captioning. The captions are delayed and broken if the video is fast-forward or backward. There is no way to generate a text copy of the captions. It cannot compete with other major online video conference tools. Next time when you consider hosting an online conference, please shy away from using Airmeet. It creates lots of headaches for attendees like me with hearing impairments who want to rewatch the recordings.

Airmeet has cancelled their lifetime membership. Revoking their promise at purchase that they will hold to their agreement.

I sincerely hope this causes the business to fail as this is simply malpractice.

I purchased the highest tier of Airmeet's lifetime deal on Appsumo for over $200, intending to use it for my second business. However, my experience has been nothing short of disappointing and frustrating. From the start, Airmeet refused to allow me to change the name of my workspace, rendering the app essentially unusable for my intended purpose from day one.

After not utilizing the app for years due to this inflexibility, I was astonished to learn that Airmeet has now completely revoked lifetime accounts for their early supporters—myself included. This supposed "lifetime deal" has been unilaterally reduced to their free plan, completely disregarding the promises made during the initial purchase.

This behavior is unacceptable, unethical, and reeks of unprofessionalism. It feels like a blatant bait-and-switch tactic to exploit early adopters who trusted and supported the platform's growth. Airmeet's actions come across as scammy, considering the significant investment their early backers made with the understanding of receiving lifetime access to premium services. Such a lack of integrity and ethical handling of commitments has destroyed my trust in Airmeet. Avoid this platform if you value transparency and reliability

Frauded lifetime deal customers!

Airmeet frauded the customers who bought their lifetime deal.

Airmeet sold lifetime accounts on Appsumo back in 2021. They sent out emails this month notifying customers that they were having financial problems and that lifetime accounts would be cancelled--but giving LT customers the option of switching to replacement accounts that could cost as much as $4,000 a month for the same services. In my opinion, the product is cute but the "big guys" do substantially the same thing at a fraction of the cost. Now that Airmeet has raised the spectre that their business model may be unsustainable, I just view them as an unneccessary risk. Truly unfortunate and sad. Affected customers may wish to reach out to FTC.gov or BBB.org to share their experience.

Despite paying and contracting to a lifetime deal, the company decided to cancel the deal and not refund the money. They said:

"While our user base hasn't grown as we had hoped, our infrastructure costs, especially for audio and video hosting, have continued to rise. Supporting our lifetime deal users has become financially unsustainable, and we find ourselves struggling to keep the business afloat."

"Please note that the Airmeet lifetime deal subscription purchased via Appsumo will be discontinued on November 30th, 2024. "

This unethical company has failed to provide updates as promised during the life of the product that was paid for and now it takes this dishonesty to its conclusion by cancelling the plan and failing to offer a refund. Please avoid this failing unethical business - they could go down anytime and you will lose both your money and respect of your clients

Bad customer experience. No option for delivery during the day. I have ordered items for office usage and they only give option to change date, but did give any option to change delivery time nor to change delivery address. You can’t initiate customer support (bot) other than the preselected category. There is option saying “My delivery is scheduled during the day and I want to change it to the evening” but NOT vice versa. I spent 2 hours to unsuccesfully make any progress with courier and had to resort to contact Amazon. I thought there is no worse courier than UPS but apparently Airmee beats that

Currently I don't trust their word. They have promised features to their paying customers but they didn't happen. They should really get their act together and we could start building this possibly great platform again!

I purchased a lifetime deal for Airmeet through AppSumo. Initially, everything was going well. Once a considerable amount of time had passed, they were fortunate enough to secure a significant amount of funding, which subsequently led them to revamp and modify their terms and contracts concerning the agreement. As an early adopter, I am not receiving the feature that was promised in the AppSumo deal. The product is practically useless. Lalith, the founder, appeared to be trustworthy with us, but now he has betrayed our trust by reneging on the promised features of the deal. The company should never be trusted, as they consistently demonstrate a lack of integrity towards their loyal customers.

I kindly request that Trustpilot does not remove reviews like ours, as we genuinely care about this issue and have chosen your platform to express our concern.

Being an early adopter of the Airmeet platform, I had high expectations for its promised features and ongoing developments. However, my experience has been nothing short of disappointing. The Airmeet team has completely failed to deliver on their commitments and instead resorted to pushing unnecessary upsells for features that should have been available to us from the beginning.

We've made numerous attempts to address this issue, spanning over months.

In a business relationship, trust is paramount, and it is clear that Airmeet cannot be trusted to keep their word.

Their lack of integrity and failure to uphold their promises have left me feeling deceived and disillusioned.

It is deeply disappointing when a company of Airmeet's stature demonstrates such disregard for its customers.

I purchased my lifetime deal of Airmeet back in 2020 when they launched on Appsumo.com. The terms were changed on the agreement between now and then.

1) Airmeet has remove the plan that I purchase from their website.
2) Airmeet has deny us new features since I purchased them that says, "All future features from business plans." Thus, when they change the plan names, it does not reflect what I purchased.
3) And if I wanted those features, I would have to pay an insane amount of money.

We gave them the benefit of doubt for 8 months of negotiation, and they did not intend to work with us to resolve this matter.
