Very poor.
I ordered two items, for which I received notification of dispatch and a tracking number. Eight days later Royal Mail state they have no such package in their system. AMS refuse to accept this and basically laid the fault on me and will not provide a refund. I cancelled all outstanding orders with them. I used to give 5 star reviews. After previous incidents having to remind them they'd not posted items, reviews fell to 3 stars. But now it's a 1 star review because 0 stars isn't allowed. I would no longer recommend AMS as a trusted supplier, myself and others now avoid the company.

Thank you for your feedback. We have checked your account and can confirm that the two orders you cancelled were pre-order models, with expected release dates of 30th April 2025. As noted at the time of ordering, pre-order release dates are set by the manufacturers and can occasionally change, which is unfortunately outside of our control. Once released, models typically arrive with us within 1 to 2 weeks for dispatch. Regarding your dispatched order, Royal Mail have unfortunately not updated the tracking as expected, but we will be contacting you directly to verify your details and resolve this properly. We take all feedback seriously and appreciate the opportunity to clarify the situation.

I've purchased a number of models from AMS over the last few years and have always been impressed with the level of service, the choice of models and the help I have received when needed from the team.
Models are despatched quickly and are usually securely packed.
The points reward scheme is also a good idea and can help make models more affordable.

The actual model is very good
The actual model is very good but unfortunately the engine on one of the wings keeps dropping off, so had to glue it on, not very convenient for a 6 year old child on his birthday.

Yet again my delivery arrived with…
Yet again my delivery arrived with damage but this time it was both models ..I was glad to see a fragile label on the box but think the packaging contents need to be more protective.
I still want to get these models but I will probably be picking them up from the shop in future

New to the 1/400 die cast hobby
I am new to the 1/400 die cast hobby and was a nice selection to choose from although hoped to see some older kits. was really happy with the order and delivery process. I needed some advice with one of the models and the friendly helpful chap I spoke to was quick to help over the phone and soon got me sorted.

ordered the Herpa Air Canada Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner 1/200 Scale at the start of November, expecting it to arrive in time for Christmas as a gift for my boyfriend. It’s now four months later, and I still haven’t received it. The release date keeps changing, yet I’ve had zero updates on the delays. At this point, it’s becoming a complete joke. If there are constant delays, the company should at least communicate with customers instead of leaving us in the dark. Will I ever get this product, or should I just assume I wasted my money? Very disappointing experience—would not recommend ordering from here if you expect timely delivery.
