Very professional
It was easy to arrange the appointment to service our heat pumps, although the specific timing got muddled up on the day. Lee did a good job, asking questions to find out about our installation and explaining what he was doing. He made a couple of suggestions and told me what he had found. Very professional.

Nice company to deal with
I feel that the company and the engineers really understand the technology but I still feel the the ECO Dan system is unnececessaily complicated just to provide warmth and hot water when needed. I also think that the annual inspection is too expensive for just 30 minutes of an engineer's time. Nonetheless, I still find A Greener Alternative very friendly and helpful.

Hi Paul! Thank you for taking the time to leave this feedback. We’re really pleased to hear that you’ve found our team friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
We completely understand your comments regarding the complexity of the Ecodan system. Heat pump systems can take a little getting used to and we always aim to make their operation as straightforward as possible for our customers. That said, if there is anything we can do to help simplify how you use your system day to day, we’d be very happy to help.
We also appreciate your feedback regarding the cost and duration of the annual service. The service charge reflects not only the engineers time on site, but also their specialist training and expertise, travel and the checks required to ensure the system continues to operate safely and efficiently.
Thank you again for your feedback and for your kind words about A Greener Alternative.

Excellent New Solar Panel and Battery System
We have just had a new solar panel and battery system installed by A Greener Alternative. We chose them for the job because they installed our air source heat pump (ASHP) six years ago and we have been extremely pleased with that ever since.
The new solar panel and battery project was not straightforward, as it has to operate alongside an older existing solar panel system installed under the Feed in Tariff (F.I.T.) scheme, which still has eleven years to run. Ollie, A Greener Alternative's senior electrical engineer, came up with a solution that allows both systems to be operated and monitored simultaneously, in spite of having to share the single mains connection.
We are delighted with the result and would recommend A Greener Alternative to anyone considering solar panels or a heat pump (or both!). Everyone from A Greener Alternative played their part to perfection (as they did with the heat pump six years ago). The job was scheduled promptly and completed efficiently with as little disruption as possible. Every member of the team was a pleasure to have on site.
