I needed to change my contact information. They have a help page that is supposed to allow you to do it yourself. I tried for weeks to do it on my own and the program just kept looping back to the starting point. I called them. The first time I got a woman who obviously wasn't there to do her job. I tried to explain what I needed and why I couldn't do it myself. She told me she would send me a website to use. She did it was the same one I told her that didn't work. The next time I called I got a woman who did help with one of my Problems but she also said she would send me an email. I never got the email because it was sent to an email address that I no longer have access to instead of the one I had just given her. Then she transferred me to another woman that was suppose to help me change my contact information. I specifically gave her my new phone number and she said she would call me back to verify that it was the right number. No phone call. I've been jumping through their hoops for over a week and it still isn't fixed. My contact information still hasn't Been changed even though I spoke to one of their tech maintenance people last week and he assured me that the info would be changed within 4 days. It's still not changed and I just received another email with another excuse why it couldn't be changed.
I also have a dispute claim pending and now I don't know if anything has even been done or if it was even filed because they're still sending stuff to my old email. No access to it. Just so frustrated and mad as hell because I am paying for something that I never received and don't know if affirm will even do anything about it.

I often use Shopify for purchases and Affirm is their third-party installments payment platform. Upon making a large purchase with a merchant on Shopify, the merchant never delivered all the items. So if I order something from a merchant and have not received everything, provide proof to Affirm, both visual and written that my items were not delivered.. and Affirm still makes me responsible to make payments on an online order that was not fully shipped to me, without showing any due diligence on Affirm’s part they decided to rule this in favor of the merchant so what does this say? These are customer-last policies. affirm does not care about customers. They’re only worry is to collect money by all means necessary whether fair or unfair so I highly recommend to never ever use Affirm as your installments payment because their customer service is horrendous. They are not showing any due diligence and investigating, nor do they provide any proof for their decision. There should definitely be a no-star option for this horrendous, inexperienced, incompetent, payments company. They’re zero American representation, all you will get is a Philippine boiler room. Nothing actually happens other that a complete waste of time on Affirm’s part. Now Shopify look like complete disgrace for partnering with a third party payment company with 2.7 approval rating. AFFIRM IS GARBAGE… they put customers last, they’re greedy and only pretend to do their due diligence when all they want is to collect.

I’ve used affirm for a couple of years never had any issues. My card was locked stating I did not have $4.62 in my account. I have multiple accounts connected to my affirm account as well as affirm money on the account. For two days I was transferred multiple times and no one could explain why my card was locked. They have the worse customer service on the planet. If I could give a negative rating I would. Just know if you ever have a problem with your account. If it get resolved at all don’t expect it to be timely

Their Customer service told me that I'll be eligible for two to of my payments which was done by my bank by mistake on 12 Jan but I have to call one day later after my payment change from processing to processed then they can return the money back. I called next day(today) and then all of a sudden they said that it's not from the day it's turn to processed it's from the day of purchase!!!! They don't even know their own rules and if their customer service is promising me something I need it to happen. Don't use AFFIRM. I highly recommend you pay with your Visa or Master card and then use installments on them. You'll get less interest anyway

Used them to place an order through Tymo Beauty. Finished payment for item that never came. When contacting Affirm concerning this, the concern would never go through sighting "unexpected error, try again later." Now having to get my bank involved to dispute charges and get money back.

It is a scamm. They attached to Veneirs and other ghost companies which will send u an 50p item just to have the proof that parcel been sent , when u ask money back thru affirm which is them ghost ally u will face the answer parcel been delivered to your neightbour and lose ur money forever. I’m in love with affirm. I can’t say enough good things about affirm. So super easy and convenient and simple to understand and you can pay early with no penalties and when your in need of something and paying it on your own isn’t an option affirm has your back and then can pay it off later quickly.
I had my entire account taken over by someone who changed all the information, let it be known I'd used and paid this account off months prior! (AND received my item.) I called them the morning the data breach happened and while they put the account back into my possession, I no longer felt safe using their services, and thus CLOSED. THE. ACCOUNT. That SAME day! So tell me why suddenly I am receiving emails about me disputing charges when I do not have an account (as it has been fully closed). And then just tonight, I recieved a full refund for the items I purchased, even though I -never- disputed any charges PLUS I closed my account. How do they have my payment method if my account was CLOSED? And furthermore, WHO is disputing these charges? I've called customer service TWICE to no avail. It's been a terrible nerve wracking experience that seemingly just WON'T end.

Absolutely absolutely horrible! I bought an item in the beginning of December, when it arrived it was not at all as the description promise, basically garbage. I had the first payment refunded through my bank, and Affirm keeps bugging me for the second payment! I emailed them multiple times to tell them that I’m not paying it yet they won’t stop emailing me with payment request and now it’s hurting my credit!! All they keep doing is telling me that they have received my email and they will be back in touch with me in 72 hours but I’ve never heard anything back

Update: the comment to reach out to your company for assistance is ludicrous. After making my payment today, I tried to start a new dispute. Now, I get a message that says you cannot dispute a charge after 120 and to reach out to the contractor. THE CONTRACTOR HAS NOT RESPONDED TO MY ATTEMPTS TO CONTACT THEM SINCE JULY. I reached out to them time and time again with no response, which why I filed the dispute to begin with.
I used affirm to hire a marketing team for my small business. My mistake was not doing due diligence on how Affirm handles disputes. I see now that my issue is a common one.
The team I hired did not do the work. They took my money and did not complete their contract. I provided evidence to the dispute team and within an hour they had settled the dispute in favor of the fraudulent company. There is no way they had time to review the extensive evidence I had sent in that one hour.
I filed a second dispute after I was told that they probably did not see my evidence and that was the reason for the hasty response.
After 3 months, they responded again saying that the dispute was found in the fraudulent company’s favor.
The company could not explain their dispute processes to me, how they review evidence, or what was submitted by the fraudulent company as evidence.
I would NEVER recommend ANYONE use Affirm, and as a business owner, I would never use them for my clients. I will never use them as a consumer, either.
BEWARE! This company protects scammers for profit!

I was manipulated and scammed into buying Christmas and birthday gifts for someone who I thought was my bff and maybe future partner and I showed proof, police report, etc and while other companies worked with me Affrim blamed me, wouldn't work with me and basically tell me to deal with it.
That is not okay.
I refuse to give anymore of my business to a company who has no empathy and rather blame you than help even with tons of proof and evidence.

I have had issues with my affirm account for 4 months now. I had a fraudulent charge on my account, that I immediately notified them about. They "removed" the charge from my account. But then 30 days later I had an overdue balance, the overdue balance was for the fraudulent charge. Every single person I have spoken to has stated the charge was removed from my account and completely discredits anything I have to say. I have been told to send screen shots to the email address they are commenting on all these reviews to reach out to, where no one ever answers literally anything. When I call in not a single person in there customer service department has done anything to fix it. I have been told the issue is being escalated but then I never hear anything again from anyone, and the problem persists. This first problem has snowballed into other problems and those have gone without another fix. I am slowly losing access to features on my account that I should be able to use because no one will fix anything

They still took out payment, they are still charging what they call "non-refundable interest" even though I have never received the product. The store in question says that they have notified Affirm. Ordered sneakers from goat (another garbage entity) and paid for them through affirm, I never received the sneakers, filed a dispute with affirm., then goat says they cancelled order and refunded affirm, now affirm is saying they haven't received refund.....in speaking with affirm, everyone I speak to there gets more stupid with each person I speak to there, then they close the dispute in favor of goat, when I sent them @ 100 emails and evidence that goat said they issued a refund.....so I don't know who's more trash....goat or affirm., but I do know that you should steer far away from doing any business with affirm, they are a totally horrible company !!!!!!... it's one stupid idiot after another in dealing with them., so now after writing the above review yesterday, today these idiots at affirm send me a reply back to my review to contact their customer care team, so they can look into this immediately, WHAT A JOKE !!!!.... I have about 20-30 emails to customer care at affirm, who have done absolutely nothing in regards to my complaint. The person who sent their reply has to be one of the main idiots that mentioned in my original review, with their generic answers and talking in circles as to pretend to help, but actually do NOTHING....as I've said earlier DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH AFFIRM !!!...they are one of the most horrible companies to deal with., to say the least. I'm curious to see which idiot they'll pick out of the garbage to reply to these additional comments on their terrible conduct, non professionalism and smoke screen conduct. I'm waiting til end of week to take legal actions against affirm as well as goat, to include any and all newspaper and media coverage to expose both of these garbage companies that prey on consumers.
1-10-25 affirm has the nerve to send a generic reply back to my review to contact their customer support.... what a joke, these people keep trying to send me to customer support, which are probably people working off of a ridiculous script from their house, not having the intelligence to really take care of the matter at hand for any result. 10 to 1 odds, some uneducated individual from affirm will reply back to this, with another generic or ai generated response that has no meaning to anything!!!! Again do not do business with these people!!!!....mostly if you do speak to someone at affirm, they sound as if they're from another country and it's 50/50 if you can get someone that you can understand what they are even saying.
