⭐️⭐️ABS Batteries⭐️⭐ Arvostelua 

Ordered a new 12volt battery for our caravan on a Sunday. It was delivered Tuesday lunch slightly earlier than expected. The delivery guy was so helpful and actually carried the battery and placed it in the boot of our car for us. A very good, heavy duty battery, that comes with a guarantee, and carries the facility for a 500 cycle. Plus the price was very reasonable. In total I have purchased over many years 3 batteries from Advanced.

Bought a battery with a 5 year warranty, 3 years in it failed, wont hold charge.
I phoned to enquire what was required for a claim and was told voltage and CCA.
After a jump start and driving 40 miles voltage was 12.4v so I phoned and was fobbed off being told it was only half charged and I needed garage test, and proper charge a run would not charge the battery. So much for their written guarantee. Needles to say I have bought one elsewhere (GSF and cheaper)

I needed a battery for my motorhome which would not start. One call to Advance and it was sorted. It was fitted on site by Advance fitter at the time and date promised.
Replacement battery was better than the original and at a good price.

Bought an own brand ABS battery from this company four years ago. BatTery has performed faultlessly. Big savIng over known brand equivalent.

Despite reading negative reviews being quite worrying.
Our experience with this Company was excellent.
The battery was returned and checked out by A B S.
they found there was a genuine problem with the battery.
The battery was changed for us under warranty and now
It is working well. Therefore I can only leave the deserved
rating of excellent. They do as promised.

If I could leave less than zero I would .
I bought a battery that failed within a year! And it had a 4 year warranty.
My mechanic tried to charge it and take pics of the reading.
They said he was a poor mechanic and totally wrong?
Avoid these con merchants at all cost .

I made a mistake and ordered the wrong battery I contacted them and dealt with Callum. He couldn't of been more helpful changed the battery I paid £14 for the return which I thought was very fare

You don’t honour your warranty after I had it tested you just ignored my emails so will be using a more trusted seller in future.

I do not need to add much to your response as 26% negative reviews is a testimony of how you treat your customers. If you listen to the telephone conversation you will understand that Callum kept interrupting throughout the conversation. You obviously do not think before you speak, out of my 20 reviews I rated 14 with 5 stars whilst 6 are negative, one of them is yours. I will praise does companies that deserve it. If you want your defective battery you can send the courier to pick it up, just let me know the day and time. Just to let you know I have raised a claim with Paypal. Maybe if you hold courses to train your staff how to treat your customers maybe your positive reviews will improve. M

Wish I could add a no star. The company seems to have only one person answering the phone, Callum who is rude, aggressive “go away and do what you like” rogue trader. This company is the worst company I have come across. After one month the battery died, took it my mechanic, checked with his advanced equipment and confirmed the batter is dead. The car has no leakage and the alternator is perfectly fine. The aggressive Callum who does not allow you to talk and keep interrupting told me if the voltage is 11.86 volts it means the battery is good. Now I have a report and picture from my mechanic which cost a further £30 that the battery is a dud. Callum said send the battery we charge it and send it back to you and I have to pay £20 for courier and postage. What a scammer. I have a big family and know a lot of people and we will all spread the word about this scam company. 26% negative reviews and nearly all of them are related to warranty issues and rudeness of person answering the phone, probably only Callum. If you have an issue just go to your bank or Paypal and raise a dispute/claim to get your money back. Even if I have to go to my solicitor I will get this scammer. When Paypal of the bank gives us the refund they will claim it back through ABS as they will have to have a bank account open. Do not let them get away with it. Good luck guys.

I bought a battery during the Christmas 2023 holiday period. The price, performance and warranty were the best I could find. It would have been delivered the following day if I hadn't delayed for my convenience and it arrived the following day in the time slot the courier predicted.

We bought 2 batteries for our campervan, didn't seem to hold their charge. I contacted the warranty department and spoke to Andy. I arranged to go and see him with the batteries, after a long discussion and after he tested the batteries, he said there was nothing wrong with them but still agreed to change them for a better quality battery and we paid the difference. It appeared that it was our van and not the batteries, we have had the van back to the manufacturers for a second time and it was a loose wire they had missed. The batteries are working perfectly. This is the second time we have used ABS Batteries and have not been disappointed. Great value and great service.

Car battery flat after being left for two weeks, three years into a four year warranty. ABS asked me to get a battery test from one of a number of nominated tyre companies. Despite the test stating that the battery should be replaced ABS then stated that it was normal for batteries to go flat after two weeks inactivity and it needed to be connected to a battery charger.

Update - the battery that I took in for test had been fully charged with a battery charger.

in ABS's email of 09/11/23 this statement was made.
"If the vehicle was left for two weeks I am not too surprised the battery is flat." Expertise - really ?

Brilliant and helpful company to deal with from start to end. Really quick postage (two days). Will certainly use again and recommend highly. The courier they used was prompt and courteous also.

I ordered a 120ah leisure battery and a genus5uk charger 2pm 15th nov and received a little after 10am 16th nov well packaged and currently charging this is the first time i have used Advanced but it will not be the last prices are ok service top notch Freddie McGee Carnforth Lancs

Next day delivery did not happen courier left calling card but made no attempt to deliver I know because I waited for it and when I cancelled order as it was required that day I was charged delivery for an item that did not arrive that is not the way to handle this and would advise that you think before you buy from this company
