⭐️⭐️ABS Batteries⭐️⭐ Arvostelua 

I purchased an expensive car battery with a 4 YEAR warranty in November 2024. It died miserably in March 2025, and was condemned by the RAC, despite the car being used daily, the battery was NEVER allowed to run flat.

I did everything this seller told me to do, nothing worked and I’m having to fully charge it every night. I’ve read many similar complaints on his eBay feedback, wish I had read them before wasting my money.

This eBay seller refuses to honour his 4 year warranty, accusing me of neglecting the battery, I did everything he told me but nothing worked, despite sending him the RAC test results.

I notice he has lots of negative feedback on eBay saying he had done exactly the same thing to them.

I’m left £69.99 out of pocket with no car. Avoid at all costs.

Excellent customer service. The guys at ABS quickly resolved a non delivery by DPD and sent a repeat order of batteries by DX which arrived noon the next day.

Brilliant service, ordered battery on Monday and it arrived before lunch the following day. Good price too. Second time of using this company and would definitely recommend.

I messaged for advice, and they replied straight away with a recommended i-stop battery at a good price. It arrived the following morning and fitted perfectly.

After having a problem and getting cross wires Andy the manager rang me and explained in detail what had gone wrong he apologised and as promised delivered a new battery the next morning you can't ask for more than that I'm happy and impressed with the service I received thank you.

I called ABS this morning at 10. 10 am to get a quote for a new battery for my Mondeo, I also needed it fitting. Got the quote that comfortably beat every other quote I'd had so far, so I ordered. Its now only 10.50 am and the new battery is on the car. I didn't have to pay up front as the chap who fitted the battery took payment by card on completion (cash also accepted) Incredibly good service it has to be said. I would highly recommend this company.

2 days later tells me its not in stock and do I want there own home brand.
Called to cancel order and it was now in stock and will receive it tomorrow.
Still waiting, its now been 1 week.
Next day deliver if ordered before 4pm. What a joke.
No update messages or anything.

Update. Came home to a battery on my doorstep. The one I originally ordered, yet you are replying saying it isn't in stock and up to me what to do.
As I posted. I called and you said it was now in stock.which it obviously was, as I now have it. So I don't know why your replying with that comment .

My classic car restoration is nearing completion and I needed a battery with a particular specification regarding dimensions etc. I was delighted to find what I needed at ABS but was worried about having to order online due to distance. Amazingly, it was in stock, arrived incredibly swiftly and was a perfect fit. Unfortunately, it turned out to have a fault in its charging capacity but after a quick call to these guys, an exact replacement was despatched immediately and now I am over the moon to have found this company. I recommend them without hesitation and will certainly use again when needed.

Had a battery that wouldn't hold a charge after I got back from holiday over Christmas. Called ABS at 1030 on Thurs 9th and Tony came over at about 3pm and replaced the battery in about half an hour.

Really pleased with the service, and the price was unbelievable. The original quote was £175 all-in but the battery turned out not to be the type they thought it was, so the price was reduced down to just £85 all-in.

I'm really pleased with the speed of response and the service on the drive. Please extend my apologies to Tony because a) I didn't even know after 6 years of having the car, the battery was in the boot, not under the bonnet, and b) He had to come up to Oldham on a cold, damp and miserable afternoon and faff around outside to get the work done.

With an end-to-end service like this, and this fast, I'd recommend ABS to anyone.

The price was the best on the market, and included delivery. The item was delivered on time ,and tracking was good.

Ordered battery on weds afternoon, received Thurs as promised, excellent customer service. Fitted battery today so will see how it performs. Avoid Halfords at all costs as customer service terrible Had a battery for 9 months and started to fail, had checked at halfords garage and said it was a bad battery and go into shop to replace. They tested and said was OK and refused to exchange
After many emails and calls they still refused. AVOID. Will update on this one but from comments feeling confident

If I could have given less I would. This company needs to look at its customer service, we have used them for years and recommended them to others which they have gained a lot of business from. However we always used the Stockport branch, my recent dealings have been with Bredbury since Stockport closed and has been less than satisfactory. We visited the premises as we were having issues with our vehicle and suspected a battery issue and asked them to check it. We were sent away telling us there was nothing wrong with the battery. However, after the garage investigated they told us it was a faulty battery. If they had identified the issue at ABS we could have avoided incurred costs and the inconvenience of the vehicle being in the garage for the best part of a week while they investigated. They offered no apology just that it was our fault for letting it run flat, which happened after we had asked them to look at it.

Avoid if you are a business and not open at 20.00hrs that's when the courier was going to deliver i needed the item as they stated next day delivery had to sorce else where and they take money off my refund because they failed to use a better courier service so im the one out of pocket and don't email them they don't reply.
