Google Ads has the worst customer service in tech, except maybe for Meta. There is no way to directly contact anyone. To get the privilege to email a customer support inbox you have to converse with an AI chatbot. Then someone may or may not respond to your email in 3-5 business days. Then I tried to set up a call, they blew me off multiple times. When I was finally able to set up a call it went straight to voicemail even after changing all settings on my phone. I asked for a GoogleMeet which never happened. I asked for a credit for the horrible customer service and no one could grant that to me. You never get the same person. When I tried to fill out a feedback form on Google's website it led me to the general Google Ads inbox... They have you in a circle chasing your tail and hoping you will fatigue too much to actually get help.

So seems to me somebody is working in Google and doing all those things on purpose just to make some money. It's been 6 months since I try to get help no way my ada are not running and I haven't touched my advertising since it started more than 12 years so somebody got into my account hacked it blocked it and now they are trying to get money out of me. that's a true face of Google ads they ruining my business. Well no appearance reason I became a victim of this scam company

L'esperienza con Google Ads è stata a dir poco come essere entrato in una centrifuga di vomito. Onestamente spero tanto che fallisca questa azienda o che debba aver a che fare con cause legali che li portino via fino all'ultimo centesimo.
Facendo un piccolo riassunto generale, i costi del traffico sono impressionalmente alti, i test sono lunghi prima di vedere i primi risultati(se riesci a vederli dato che io personalmente non ho visto nessun segnale poitivo come ad esempio utenti che arrivano al checkout ma solo clicks costosi) quindi vuol dire che devi prepararti ad accumulare una grossa perdita.
L'esperienza con Google si può riassumere in una grossa perdita di tempo e soldi, accompagnata da un alta frustrazione.
Questo è solo lo schifo generale della piattaforma.
Ora nel mio caso specifico, avevo creato l'account e richiesto il credito promozionale di 400€, a fronte di una spesa di 400€, ho dovuto aspettare mesi perchè venisse approvato, cosa che praticamente faceva si di farti sperperare altre centinaia di € nel frattempo, dato che se uno che ha un business da portare avanti deve aspettare il credito promozionale, avrei dovuto fermare la campagna e attendere mesi in pausa prima di riceverlo e già quì non ci siamo dato che io i pagamenti gli ho sempre effettuati correttamente senza ritardi di mesi.
Una volta approvato ho avuto modo di utilizzarne il 50% circa e poi da un giorno all'altro il mio account è stato sospeso con una motivazione ridicola, ovvero per "furto d'identità di un personaggio pubblico" cosa che non stavo violando in alcun modo dato che tutto il funnel era stato controllato anche da un consulente Google (Elena Degli Esposti Pallotti) visto che l'assistenza non è mai di alcun aiuto. La risposta della consulente ricordo che era stata "è tutto bloccato" senza spiegare un valido motivo e chiedendomi di creare un nuovo account perdendo di conseguenza il credito promozionale residuo. Anche no. Con che coraggio chiedi questo a un inserzionista e pensi che possa essere d'accordo nel procedere in quella maniera.
Oltre a questa esperienza frustrante, dato che utilizzavo un sistema di tracciamento di terze parti, mi ero accorto che ottenevo un numero di traffico bot piuttosto alto su base giornaliera, cosi incominciai ad inviare i reports dei click logs all'assistenza Google. La cosa buffa è che la prima volta dopo un analisi approfondita era apparso che avevo effettivamente ragione e ottenuto clicks fraudolenti che a loro volta non erano stati bloccati dai sistemi Google, così mi proposero un rimborso di 44,60€ che ad oggi devo ancora vedere dal Dicembre 2025 che doveva essere accreditato. Dopo tutte le altre segnalazioni che avevo fatto inerenti al traffico bot avevo sempre ricevuto una risposta generica (come nel 99% di richieste che avevo inviato) facendomi credere che non ci fosse più alcun problema e che naturalmente TRUFFATORI quali sono non volessero piu nemmeno fare finta di rimborsarmi per l'immondizia di traffico che avevo acquistato.
Fino ad oggi non è presente alcuna voce nell'attività di fatturazione e sembra che nessuno sappia dove siano finiti i 44,60€ che mi spettavano di diritto, continuando con risposte fuorvianti per farti perdere solo tempo aumentando la tua frustrazione solamente.
Running your ads and charging you without your knowledge
Can I do less than one? That ads themselves don't really yield much in comparison to how much it costs. And the ad campaigns can restart themselves whenever they want and Google will happily charge you even if it's displayed incorrectly or you have no idea it's even running. And then when you reach out to customer service they'll just say well you paid for what was running. But completely ignore the fact that you're telling them you never started it. I've had it happened three times now totaling over $600 in charges, outside of the times I actually was running an ad. If you are going to use them if nothing at all I would recommend using a prepaid card or otherwise so they can't go all gung-ho on your stuff and then tell you it was your fault. There are much better ways to get leads even though this is the biggest, it's just not worth it. Not worth the cost or the headache.

Just absolute convoluted rubbish, it's so unclear how to properly set this up for a simple service business. There's so much conflicting information. I spent 2 hours with a 'Google Representative' to set it up properly and even they couldn't get it working!

Signed up, linked a verified Visa card, prepaid $50. Google accepted my money instantly. Then blocked ad delivery for 3+ days demanding passport verification. I submitted my passport — it still won't pass. If there are issues with document verification, I'd be willing to do a live video call to verify my identity, or provide a bank statement showing my full name and Kazakhstan registration. But no such options exist.
Why not verify BEFORE taking payment? If you require ID — put it as step 1, not after charging the card. The onboarding flow is deliberately designed to collect payment first and verify later, trapping users' funds.
Terrible experience for a small developer trying to promote open source Ruby gems.

Je leur demande de l'aide. Ils me disent dans un premier temps de clôturer mon compte et que je serai remboursé sous 10 jours.
Je leur explique qu'il est impossible d'attendre aussi longtemps. Ils me disent de demander à ma banque de rejeter les 2 prélèvements en trop; ce que je fais.
Aujourd'hui le compte est toujours bloqué et ils ne retrouvent pas le prélèvement validé par ma banque. Ils me demandent maintenant une attestation écrite de ma banque pour pouvoir valider le paiement.
Je n'ai jamais vu ça !

Google Ads Steals Your Money
I've been running Google Ads for 5 years. Google Ads only has their own interests in mind - making themselves more money. Their customer service is absolute trash - they never give you a straight answer, respond, or follow-up as promised. Their contracted "Google Ads reps" are the worst - they are NOT educated on how to use Google Ads. Every single recommendation from them has only cost me thousands of dollars. I can only trust myself to run my own Google Ads. Certainly don't take any of the automated recommendations or advice from Google Ads, as it is designed to make Google more money. What a horrible way to run a business - zero ethics, zero integrity. Shame on you, Google!

Volevo fare una recensione su Google, non sul servizio che, viste le recensioni, fa schifo anche questo, come soggetto che pur di prendere soldi fa la pubblicità a chiunque, anche a banditi, a siti truffaldini, a chiunque basta che paghi!!! E se provi a segnalare un annuncio, immancabilmente, ti viene risposto che non lo escluderanno dal servizio!!! Alla faccia dell' etica di Google!!!

I really wish I would have come here first to see that there were so many 1 star reviews. I trusted that Google, with my email, my website, that all would be seemless.
So far, I've spent hours on the phone, on meetings with them and no progress. When I went to login today, my entire account had been wiped out. HOURS AND HOURS of information, gone. Google Ads says its impossible for them to do anything like this on their end, but I sure has heck haven't.
I was also supposed to have a credit of $500/month, but they started billing against my personal account and overdrew it. Such a bad experience and its only been one month for me. Getting out as fast as possible but every call will cost you at least an hour of your time!
