Adelante Abroad LLC Arvostelua 

I did an internship in Barcelona with Adelante Abroad and it was an amazing experience. I was super happy with my accommodation, the Spanish school, my internship and the experience as a whole. I made some amazing friends and had a truly wonderful time. The Adelante Abroad team was very helpful and communicative as well. I truly cannot recommend enough! 10/10

Adelante did not communicate well with the students prior to the trip at all, but we were able to figure it out for ourselves.

Everything was great, it was beautiful and we got to see a lot while we studied. Everyone was super helpful even the locals, and I made so many friends here. This was a once in a lifetime experience and I am so glad I was able to go on this trip.

The course work is pretty easy but the highlight is the riding, it was nice to get back into horses.

I had a good experience with adelante, somewhat helpful, mostly fine.

I'm a veterinary technology student and this was a great experience. I wanted to widen my knowledge on horse's as a whole and thats exactly what I did. Through riding and academics this program helped me become more comfortable around horses and with the medical terminology surrounding horse care. I would definitely prepare for all weather conditions including cold winds and rains even though it is "summer".

I went on the Edinburgh Equine abroad Program 2024, and I was super nervous about going alone, but I made great friends! There was a larger travel distance into Edinburgh than initially stated, but it was not that bad if you went with multiple people. I do recommended carrying a rain jacket with you wherever you go, because you never know when it is going to rain. There was so many cool things to do in Edinburgh for free that were very interesting and exciting! There was also plenty of great views everywhere we went! the royal mile is also so big with a lot of adorable shops and things to do!

They call their position volunteer.
But you have to give them your time and services and experience and you have to pay them on top of all of that too.
And ppl actually volunteer to get scammed! I mean they can go solo and have a great time and use that money to travel better. But hey! why not give your money to some agency so they can make you work for free!

I spent valuable times with doctors and was able to grow a lot in a very nice place.

This was a unique experience as it was structured different than many other study abroad programs. There were not pre-planned cultural activities, which I personally liked because I was able to see what I wanted to see on my own terms. My internship placement at a law firm was absolutely perfect. The staff in Uruguay was great too. However, housing was falsely advertised so be aware that it is a 3-bedroom house with one room being the Spanish teacher's, and not 5-8 American students as advertised.

My internship in Ecuador provided me with useful work experience in the field of human rights, invaluable conversations with native Spanish speakers, and incredible opportunities to explore and navigate an unfamiliar culture and landscape.

My internship abroad was an incredible experience. I learned a lot and my Spanish improved even further because I was able to use it every day with my host family when you are out and about, and with my coworkers. The staff was organized and responsive. However, I would recommend that the Spanish courses should be based on the level of Spanish because I found it not interesting because I had to learn the greetings and grammar. I did find the Chilean Spanish, food, and culture part of the course informative and fun! Thank you

I had an amazing time here. I learned a lot and had so much fun traveling around here. I had never ridden english before so this was all new. They were very patient with us. I came in with some equine A&P knowledge but I definitely was able to broaden that knowledge. The equine fitness was all new to me. I learned a lot about making a fitness plan to get a horse ready for different types of competitions. I really enjoyed traveling around Scotland. I did a lot on my own but also had some prearranged trips with the program that i really enjoyed as well.

I came to live in Madrid for 3 months. I did an internship that involved teaching Spanish children English, which was very rewarding as I knew that what I was doing was benefitting these children. I have made friends with people from around the world, greatly improved my Spanish and have seen so many amazing things in Spain. During my time in Spain, I also travelled to different cities such as Segovia, Barcelona and Toledo. I highly recommend visiting other cities during your time in Spain. Living in Spain has given me invaluable life skills as I was living on my own for the first time, meaning I had to cook, clean and food-shop for myself. Coming to live in Spain for 3 months was the best decision I have ever made, and it has been an unforgettable life experience!

Interning abroad with Adelante was the experience of a lifetime. I interned as a mechanical engineering student at a creative coworking lab called Makerspace where I got to collaborate on innovative projects using 3D printers, laser cutters, and other cool tools with my coworkers in the lab. I also had the wonderful experience of leading a workshop in Spanish on 3D design in SolidWorks. My coworkers were extremely welcoming and made a strong effort to help me navigate Chilean culture and traveling as well as spending time with me outside of work! COVID definitely had a negative impact on the experience, as it made travel difficult and made half of my time at the internship virtual. Also, there were very few participants in the program, so it was a struggle to find friends to do things with. Nonetheless, the experience was overall very rewarding, and I highly recommend this program.

My time abroad was such a great experience! I was really happy with my psychology internship placement where I learned a lot! My housing placement was perfect as it was right in the center of Madrid. I only wish I was able to spend more time abroad, everything was perfect!

Adelante went above and beyond with helping me file for my visa and any other documents. They were very straightforward about pricing, and I was very happy about my internship and housing placement. From your first phone call to your final day in Spain, they will help you with any problem that might arise. They made the visa process very simple for me and even helped me get college credit for my legal internship abroad. They have excursions that you can take a part in, and you will meet amazing people through those excursions and events!

I did a legal internship in Barcelona, and was very happy with my placement and the work I participated in. There is plenty of time to explore the city or to visit other countries in Europe. Barcelona is an extremely diverse place in which you will meet people from all around the world! The Kingsbrook school is an incredible place to meet new people!

My housing was astounding, and I really enjoyed my roommates. My apartment was located in a great part of Barcelona, and was right next to a metro stop.

I did a legal internship in Oaxaca for three months with Adelante and it exceeded my expectations. I met the best people and lived in a great location with a kind host family and the best internship placement. My spanish has definitely improved thanks to the spanish lessons at the beginning as well as all the other people I met including those at my internship who were very patient and taught me a lot of legal and complex terms. If you are independent and enjoy exploring the city and having great opportunities for cultural immersion and meeting new people this is definitely a great program and excellent value for money. It really helped with my university application and I will definitely be returning to Oaxaca!
