So I spoke with Erica 2 months ago to fill out a renewal for my application for food stamps as I am extremely handicapped. Last year a social worker filled it out for me. Erica failed to give me a list of documents that I needed to send and where to send them. So I was unaware I needed to send anything. When I called yesterday to find out after an hour on the phone with a man that couldn’t answer any of my questions they finally got Erica on. She tells me she told me about documents but unlucky for her I save all text messages. No list or email was ever provided. Thanks to her I have lost my food stamps and on verge of losing medical coverage. After I get this straightened out I am going to call for her dismissal as she cannot do a competent job
I actually gave her a glowing review last year but I now realize I should wait a year before doing so again 😭🤬
Edit on July 18,2025. Thanks to Erica messing up my application as of 5 days ago I have lost my medicaid and my food stamps. I will be homeless soon. I never want to hear from this company again

To clarify, our role is only to assist with applications for state programs like food stamps. We are not connected in any way to the distribution of benefits, medical coverage, or housing services. Your application has been submitted and is currently under review by the appropriate state agency. We remain hopeful that your food benefits will be reinstated soon.
We take your concerns seriously and will be reviewing the communication involved to ensure clarity and consistency for all clients going forward. If you have more questions or need help understanding next steps, please feel free to contact us directly. We're here to support you within the scope of what we do.

To clarify based on your July 18 update: ACN assists only with completing and submitting applications, but we do not determine eligibility or benefit amounts, those decisions are made by your local Department of Human Services.
Our review shows that your SNAP benefits were reduced and Medicaid was denied due to a reported income increase. These decisions were made by the state, not by ACN or any team member. We encourage you to contact your county office, as you have the right to appeal and provide additional documentation if needed. We’re here to support you through that process if you'd like. We wish you the best as you move forward.

I wish I knew about them before, because I could have applied earlier for benefits. It's impossible to go to the Welfare office when you're hospitalized and sick. What an amazing service for someone to come to your home, explain the different benefits and help you apply! Everyone was caring and professional. Alfredo even followed up to see if I received any benefits.
