We respectfully disagree with your characterization of AcerParts.ca as a scam or fraudulent company.
Your order issue related to duties and taxes assessed by the courier and government authorities at the time of import. These charges were not imposed by us and are outside of our control. At the time of your purchase, these tariffs were newly implemented, and since then we have updated our website to make this information clearer for customers.
You ultimately received a full refund, which demonstrates that we acted in good faith to resolve the situation. While we regret the frustration you experienced, publicly labeling a legitimate, authorized parts supplier, or any company, as fraudulent due to circumstances beyond their control is inaccurate and misleading. Such statements can cause serious and unjust harm to a company’s reputation and livelihood. We ask that this be considered carefully.
