ACE Rent A Car Arvostelua 

SCAMMERS! Beware! Some time back I rented a car from ACE outlet at Wroclaw airport, Poland. I got a pick-up report which only showed few of many pre-existing scratches and surface damages. Company representative at the counter did not agree to come and hand over the car in person.
A day after drop-off I got a report with a made-up claim for damages. I was charged 800 Euro. I was able to show comparison between company’s pick-up and drop-off report where claimed damages are present on both. There was never any response by the local office to any of my complaints and numerous attempts to raise this unfair and unlawful business practice. My best advice is to stay away from this provider.

Total rip off operation.
Rented in Vegas, and as others have stated, they will try to extract every last penny they can from you.
Made me pay for insurance because I only had my AAA insurance card, that didn't list my coverages, and deductibles.
It was late, and their location is miles from the airport, in an industrial park, so I really had no choice.
Never, ever Ace again.......

I rented a car on June 21 in Wrocław for 5 days, mainly because of the rental price. Unfortunately, I regretted it very quickly, and I can honestly say that I will be much more careful when choosing a car rental company from now on. I will never rent a car from this awful company again.

ACE Rent A Car in Wrocław is a company I definitely do not recommend. Instead of providing normal and honest service, I got the impression that their main goal is to extract as much extra money from customers as possible. If you do not buy their additional insurance, you can very easily be charged huge amounts for alleged scratches that their staff somehow manage to “find,” even where there were none before. The whole business model seems focused more on charging fees than on providing proper car rental service.

In my case, they claimed to find scratches and valued them at a ridiculous 2,500 PLN (680$). I consider this an unfair practice. I filed a chargeback with my bank, explained the whole situation, and the money was refunded. I avoid ACE Rent A Car in Wrocław completely — I do not recommend them at all.

I used them twice but the second time was the last one. Rip off. Stay away from them.
I couldn’t speak to anyone during drop off and there was a message to drop off the keys in in the box provided. I called twice as there was no one at the desk . No one answer. They charged me for the scratches that were on the photos they took themselves when I picked up the car . Made up a sum of over 5000 PLN . The only damage I am aware of was the pine marten that damaged bonnet’s soft part but this can’t cost over 5000 PLN . They took photo of the old scratches at the different angle so they looked different .

I landed at LAX and then caught the shuttle to the Ace facility. The driver of the shuttle was amazing and that’s where my good experience ended. I went inside and got in line. There were two people in front of me. Still, it took me over 60 minutes to get to the counter to secure my car.
I flew down here to say goodbye to my mother as we took her off life-support in the
hospital. Things took a little bit longer than I anticipated so I needed to extend my contract for two more days. I tried repeatedly to call the counter at LAX, but only got a voicemail. I then spoke to a gentleman at the corporate headquarters in Indianapolis, but he did not have access to my contract to help me with what I needed. I finally got a text message from Ace letting me know that they had received my message and that the car is extended for 48 hours at $80 a day which was slightly annoying since my initial rate was under $30 a day. But I am here to say goodbye to my mom so whatever. Then I woke up this morning and I realized that in addition to the $160 for the additional two days they also took an new $500 out of my account as a deposit even though they took $500 out of my account for a deposit when I arrived and I’m still in the same car still under the same contract, just extended it. So not only did I get to watch my mother die in front of me but now I get to pay a late fee and a return check fee from my mortgage company when my check bounces. I would’ve paid twice as much for the hassle free experience that I’ve always had with Enterprise if given another chance. Don’t go with the cheapest rate. Go with the company that you’ve heard of. Ace Rental Car left a very bad taste in my mouth and a really big hole in my wallet.

Vi afleverede bilen uden en eneste skade. Bilen var i samme stand, som da vi modtog den, og der var ingen nye skader eller problemer overhovedet. Alligevel har ACE valgt at beholde hele vores depositum.

Vi er dybt frustrerede over situationen. Når man afleverer en lejebil uden skader og alligevel mister hele sit depositum, er det svært at se det som andet end en urimelig behandling af kunden. De svarer os heller ikke på mail eller telefon - så det er umuligt at komme o kontakt med dem.

Vi havde forventet en seriøs og professionel biludlejer, men vores oplevelse har været det stik modsatte. Vi føler os ganske virkelig snydt.

The Worst Rental Car Company Ever

Without a doubt, this is one of the worst rental car companies I have ever dealt with. I strongly recommend that you do NOT rent a car from this company.

1. You have to take two airport shuttle buses just to get to the rental location, which is extremely inconvenient.
2. The front-desk maybe manager were extremely rude, verbally abusive, and threatening toward me. They gave me a vehicle with a piece of plastic on the floor that had come loose. I had two children with me, so I was concerned about the vehicle’s safety and requested a different car.
3. At 9:00 p.m., they suddenly canceled my rental and refused to give me the keys, even after I clearly explained that I had a child with me and urgently needed the vehicle.

Several employees initially agreed to let me switch vehicles. However, when I was ready to switch, the person who claimed to be in charge gave me only two choices: either drive away in that vehicle or cancel the entire reservation.

“When I raised a safety concern about the vehicle because a plastic panel had fallen off, I asked to exchange the vehicle. Several employees initially agreed, but this manager refused and gave me two options that I felt were unreasonable. I also felt that his manner toward me was disrespectful and intimidating.”

He was extremely disrespectful, told me to “F leave”, and continued treating me in an unacceptable manner. Most importantly, while I had two children with me, they canceled my rental without my permission and told me to leave and take an Uber.

I have never experienced such terrible customer service. I have video evidence of what happened, and I will be pursuing this matter further and filing complaints with the appropriate parties.

Please think twice before renting from this company.
Forget to mention , the vehicle’s registration sticker shows that it has already expired.

This review is specifically for Denver Airport. Quite literally the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Got nickle and dimed then treated like dirt when I tried to dispute it. I would not send my worst enemy here. Truly truly scum of the earth operation.

Extremely Unprofessional and Hidden Fees

​Avoid ACE Rent a Car at all costs!

​Our experience was unacceptable from start to finish. We called them for a shuttle pick-up from the airport to the rental location, only to be left waiting outside in the heat for nearly an hour and a half.

​To make matters worse, when returning the vehicle, they slapped us with an unfair $30 late fee—even though we returned the car two hours before the agreed deadline.

​Terrible customer service, terrible waiting times, and completely dishonest charges. Save yourself the headache and rent from a company that actually respects its customers.

It’s gets a one star because I can’t give it less.
I’m a disabled person and I was taken advantage of by an Ace agent. I told them I didn’t want their insurance multiple times. I was never asked to provide my insurance information or I would. He charged my card for it and I didn’t realize until the car was returned. Started a complaint with the company and the ADA. They refused to refund my money even after I provided the needed info to customer service

Hidden fees and terrible customer serviceI booked through Ace, but dealing with Drivo was a complete nightmare. The initial price looked cheap, but they forced me to pay unexpected fees and extra insurance at the counter. The staff was unhelpful and the wait times for the shuttle were way too long. Avoid this company if you want to avoid hidden costs.

Podczas zwrotu nikogo nie bylo w biurze chociaz powinno byc otwarte.Po godzinie z mojego konta potracono 3,5tys zlotych za zekome uszkodzenia-dwie ryski wieklosci 1cm.Ogledziny firma wykonala na brudnym aucie.Kiedy porownalem zdjecia z przed wynajmu i po zwrocie auta okazolo sie ze te ryski juz tam byly wczesniej.Od miesiaca nik nie odpowiada na moje emaile i nie zwraca skradzionych bo inaczej tego nie ujme pieniedzy.Zlodzieje nic wiecej.Sprawa trafi do sadu bo ja tak tego nie zostawie.

OSTRZEGAM PRZED OSEK RENT A CAR — OMIJAJCIE SZEROKIM ŁUKIEM!

Moje doświadczenie pokazuje, że osoby, które nie wykupią dodatkowego ubezpieczenia, mogą zostać obciążone kosztami rzekomych uszkodzeń.

Przy odbiorze samochodu na CHECK-IN były już widoczne rysy. Te same rysy zostały również zaznaczone przy CHECK-OUT. Co więcej, po zwrocie samochodu, kiedy zapytałem o jego stan, otrzymałem od wypożyczalni pisemne potwierdzenie, że nie ma żadnych uszkodzeń.

Mimo to później zostałem obciążony kosztami naprawy całych lewych drzwi.

Dla mnie jest to kompletnie niedopuszczalne. Dokumentacja CHECK-IN i CHECK-OUT pokazuje stan samochodu, a mimo tego wypożyczalnia obciążyła mnie kosztami naprawy.

Zdecydowanie odradzam OSEK Rent a Car. Jeśli nie chcecie ryzykować podobnej sytuacji, omijajcie tę wypożyczalnię szerokim łukiem
