U nas było to samo . Oddaliśmy samochód o 6 rano na Balicach ( oczywiście klucze do skrzynki ) po 4 dniach wysyłają zdjęcia auta porysowanego i chcą 8 tys PLN !!!!! OSZUŚCI !!!!

There has to be 0 stars added to this, so I could give me them that. Don't use them if you really need the car. They will deny you based on the name of the bank on your credit card, even though they take reservation with that card. They are dumb. They spam. Their terms of service don't list which credit card works, which does not. They are a company from hell.

Bob at return and Chris at checkin made this rental epic!!!!

Our experience with drivo was easy going and smooth. Bob was helpful with the return and made sure we got everything we needed.

Very unprofessional staff, they charge you double and they dont even have justification for it neither they have details in there system. This company is a total fraud, everyone should avoid renting car from this company.

Oh hello, Bob was very nice to me. It was difficult to find the way to return the car but otherwise everything was great.

I am hoping to help anyone who is thinking about renting from ACE Rent A Car. DON’T DO IT!!!! If I could give zero stars, I would!!! They are the biggest scam artists and I am not sure how they are in still in business! My husband and I rented a car from them. We went to pick it up at Tampa Airport. We were told we needed 2 paper copies of a Utility bill, showing we lived in FL. Of course they never told us this when booking AND who even still gets paper bills OR carries them with them??? After telling the rep this (we drove an hour to get to the Airport and needed the car that day), he said there was nothing they could do. We were stranded without a car we already paid for!!! When we contacted the company, they told us they would NOT refund our money!!! We will NEVER use this company again and hope no one else will either! They are the ABSOLUTE WORST company we have ever dealt with!!!!

Sitting at Orlando airport terminal C. for over an hour. I called twice. They just told us that they go to terminal A and B first and if full have to go back to shop to unload. This is crazy!!!! All other car rental places have been here at least 4 times if not more.

W ciagu 5 minut zadzwonil do nas przedstawiciel fimy i poinformowal, ze na przedniej szybie jest uszkodzenie i rysa( tak minimalna i prawie niewidoczna), za ktora bedziemy obciazone z depozytu. Jadac autem nie przypominam sobie zeby doszlo do uderzenia kamieniem, wiec nie chcialam poniesc za to odpowiedzialnosci. Pan przedstawil zdjecia z dnia odbioru z godz 8 rano, a my odbieralismy auto o godz, 13.10, mokre od deszczu, wiec ciezko bylo zauwazyc jakakolwiek kropeczke. Poza tym pan wiedzial natychmiast gdzie to uszkodzenie sie znajduje, wykorzystal to ze spieszy sie nam na samolot i poinformowal, ze na drugi raz trzeba wybrac ubezpieczenie auta od nich a nie od firmy ktora proponuje LOT, wiec uwazam ze to dzialanie bylo celowe zeby uzyskac pieniadze. Potem przeczytalam opinie, ze wielu klientow zostalo naciagnietych na to samo uszkodzenie. Ktos powinien sie zajac wiarygodnoscia tej firmy. OSZUSCI!!!

Very Disappointing Experience - Misleading Credit Card Requirements, Excessive Insurance Charges, and Poor Vehicle Condition
Irented a car from ACE Rent A Car at Warsaw Chopin Airport through Booking.com and paid for my reservation in advance, including insurance.
When I arrived to collect the vehicle, 1 presented two valid US-issued credit cards from US Bank and Citibank Mastercard.
The representative refused to accept either card simply because the word "CREDIT" was not physically printed on them.
I showed him the rental conditions provided through Booking.com, which clearly listed three major internationally recognized card networks:
Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
Nowhere in the rental conditions does it state that the word "CREDIT" must be physically printed on the card. I am attaching a photograph of these payment requirements so that other customers can see exactly what was stated.
Instead, I was told that I had to purchase additional insurance to receive the vehicle.
What makes this situation even more outrageous is that the additional insurance charge for just two weeks was higher than the entire original Booking.com reservation, including both the car rental AND the insurance I had already purchased!
In other words, I ended up paying more for additional insurance at the rental counter than I had originally paid for the entire rental package.
I ultimately paid because I felt I had no real choice. I needed the vehicle and was afraid of losing both my prepaid reservation and the money I had already paid.
To make matters worse, the vehicle being offered to me was changed three times during our conversation. The car I eventually received was dirty on the outside and had clearly not been properly cleaned before being handed over. I am also attaching photographs documenting the vehicle's exterior condition.
The entire experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and extremely disappointing.
In my opinion, this is not a healthy, fair, or transparent way to conduct business.
Customers should not be placed under this kind of financial pressure at the rental counter, especially after paying for their reservations in advance.
If a rental company has specific requirements regarding credit cards, those requirements should be clearly disclosed before customers make their reservations — not introduced at the counter as a reason to demand expensive additional insurance.
A rental that appears affordable when booked online should not suddenly become more than twice as expensive at pickup because of requirements that were never clearly disclosed.
I strongly recommend that anyone considering renting from ACE Rent A Car at Warsaw Chopin Airport exercise extreme caution.
I am attaching photographs of the dirty vehicle and the original Booking.com payment requirements so that potential customers can judge the situation for themselves.
This is not how a fair and competitive marketplace should operate.

In May 2026 I booked a rental car through Orbitz with Ace Rental and was denied the vehicle at the counter because Ace refused my Apple Card despite their own written policy explicitly listing Mastercard as an accepted form of payment. Apple Card is a Mastercard issued by Goldman Sachs.

What followed was five months of being bounced between Orbitz and Ace with zero resolution. Ace acknowledged through the Better Business Bureau that their payment policy was unclear. Orbitz confirmed in writing that Ace had already collected payment for a booking I never used. Yet neither party would issue a cash refund to my original form of payment.

At every turn Orbitz failed to advocate for me as their customer. I filed BBB complaints, disputed with my credit card issuer, and sent countless emails documenting everything. Orbitz's response was a string of apologies, automated replies from Ace, and repeated attempts to close my case without resolution.

After five months of fighting, Orbitz's final offer was Orbucks that can only be redeemed for hotels. Not a cash refund. Not a credit back to my original payment method. Hotel credits. For a rental car I never received.

I paid $669.98 for a service that was never rendered. The vendor admitted fault. Orbitz confirmed the vendor was paid. And I was left holding credits I never asked for.

Orbitz prioritized their vendor relationship over their customer. I will never book through this platform again and I will make sure others know why.

Tras un largo viaje, con un gran retraso al aeropuerto de Cracovia, y siendo la 1 de la madrugada,nos espera una furgoneta para 8 personas ya pagado. Nos llevan a sus oficinas para terminar de hacer los papeles y tras decirnos una cifra de fianza superior a la comentada, y sólo pudiendo pagarlo el amigo que se pudo como conductor, no tenía saldo suficiente por lo que no nos daba el coche.
Le propusimos varias alternativas, pagar la persona que había alquilado el coche y tenían sus datos, con la tarjeta de la mujer del que iba a ser el conductor… en fin. No había manera de que nos ayudara a resolver el problema. Hasta que después de seguir insistiéndole para solucionar el problema, nos dice que si le pagamos una cantidad de dinero se soluciona, cosa que no aceptamos.
Ya las 2 de la madrugada, nos volvió a llevar al aeropuerto y nos dejó tirados sin ninguna ayuda de cómo llegar al hotel y por supuesto quedándose el dinero del alquiler.
Llegar a un país que desconocemos y su idioma siempre pensamos que la gente tiene más empatía por estas situaciones.
En conclusión, mostraron falta de empatía, estafa y prepotencia.
Por ello os comentamos tener mucha precaución a la hora de contratar un alquiler de coche con la empresa ACE Rent

Teníamos una reserva en el aeropuerto de Cracovia el 13 de octubre a las 23:50 para 8 personas.
Al venir a buscarnos nos pidieron una fianza de 2.050 € cuando inicialmente era de 1.800€
La tarjeta del conductor no disponía del nuevo importe y a pesar de ofrecerle otras visas o cambio de conductor no hubo manera de reconducir la situación. Solo nos ofrecían pagar otros 260€ por un día de utilización al cual nos negamos.
Nos quedamos tirados siendo ya la 01:00
Un trato nefasto y totalmente denunciable

Went to chicago for the first time. Rented a car. Apparently it was at another airlines. I called ace and told them my mishap cancelled my booking and got another one at the airport I was at. And unfortunately they did not refund me my $500. This was the worst most expensive trip I have ever taken. Ace was not helpful or considerate about refunding my money. I took my girls to the Nike championship basketball tournament. And was just trying to make it the best. Thanks ace for taking money I could have used somewhere else. Do not recommend ace and I will never rent a car from you again.

Avoid this company – Terrible service, hidden fees, and long wait times

Save yourself the headache and book elsewhere. We waited 40 minutes just for the airport shuttle, followed by another long wait in line. When we finally reached the desk, the associate rushed us and ignored our explicit refusals of add-on coverage. Even after clarifying our choices, extra fees were added anyway, ballooning our final cost to 2.5 times the original Priceline estimate. Customer service refused to take accountability or correct their employee’s error. Extremely disappointing experience.

Pick up from airport ok, very pushy about insurance and would not accept FULL COVER provided by Economy Car Rental booking site. Was "encouraged" to take out their insurance. 1800 GBP was charged to my credit card for the damage deposit which, one month after returning the car, has still not been received.

Update: Deposit has been returned. Thanks to Sam at the Manchester location for fixing it.

**Very Disappointing Experience – Poor Customer Service and Unexpected Extra Charges**

We had a very bad experience renting a car in Warsaw through ACE RENT A CAR near the airport. We had already booked and prepaid for our rental through a third-party booking platform, yet when we arrived to collect the car, we were charged an additional for insurance and fuel.

To make matters worse, the staff refused to accept our Canadian Visa and Mastercard because the word “CREDIT” was apparently missing from the cards.. This created an additional problem, and we were charged extra as a result. As Canadian travellers, we found this situation extremely frustrating, especially since we had already booked and paid for the rental in advance.

The customer service representative was also very rude and unprofessional. Rather than explaining the requirements and additional charges politely, the representative’s attitude made an already stressful situation even worse.

We understand that rental companies may have specific payment, insurance, and fuel policies. However, these conditions and any additional costs should be clearly communicated before customers arrive to collect their vehicles. Unexpected charges, difficulties with payment cards, and rude customer service are not what anyone expects after making a prepaid reservation.

Overall, this was a very disappointing and frustrating experience. We strongly encourage other travellers to confirm the accepted credit card requirements and clarify all insurance, fuel, and other potential charges in writing before booking. We would not want other travellers to face the same unpleasant surprise that we did.

Scam! Scam! Scam!
Biggest scammers ever stay away from them! I rented a car pre paid for it online when I picked it up the guy at the front desk said the car has a full tank but don’t fill it up when you bring it back because our gas is cheaper here. I said what do you mean I’ve never rented a car and not been told I must bring it back with a full tank or exactly how much gas was in it that they mark when you pick it up. He said our gas is cheaper here I said I don’t understand he said just don’t fill it up, gas in the city is $4.25 a gallon ours is only $3.99 a gallon. I went ahead and filled the car up before I brought it back and returned it anyway because first of all I had never heard of that and second I had a flight to catch and wanted to be able to just turn it in and be good to go and not have to wait around for them to put gas in it then tell me how much I owe etc. I go to the desk turn the car in they said everything was good credited back my deposit on my credit card and I left. A couple of days later a charge shows up on my credit card for a full tank of gas at $10.00 a gallon and the date for the charge is the day I picked the car up. I about fell over $10 a gallon not too mention I brought it back with a full tank. So I call them and they said it was because I didn’t pre pay for the gas if you pre pay for the gas when you pick it up it’s only $3.99 a gallon if you don’t we charge you $10
a gallon when you bring it back. I said I brought the car back with a full tank first of all second how can I pre pay for gas on the day I pick up the car without knowing how much gas I’m going to use while I have it that makes no sense. She said well you didn’t prepay for the gas so you get charged for a full tank at $10 a gallon when you bring it back. I said do you have a receipt showing where I signed authorizing that payment for gas at $10 a gallon she said no I said well then I will dispute the charge with my credit card company because I never signed anything for a gas charge the day I picked it up or the day I brought it back. They were absolutely unwilling to help at all I asked to speak to the manager and they said I would have to email him he doesn’t have a phone so I did and never heard anything back.
