I see that most reviews here are very positive, but unfortunately my experience overall has been frustrating and disappointing. This could be an anomaly, but based on this experience, I’ve concluded that it will ultimately be cheaper and easier to just go with another company.

Here are my issues:
1. Order was shipped to the wrong address. I spent over a week of talking with and emailing their customer service on a daily basis to correct this error. Granted, the agent, Courtney, was very kind and genuinely seemed like she wanted to help – and she ultimately got the order to the event in time.
2. Table cloth I ordered was printed incorrectly. I had triple-checked that the proof for this had no errors, yet the logos on the sides of the table cloth were cut off. I requested a refund and was told that there must have been my error and there was no offer to remedy the situation. To make this more frustrating, I have no way to access the online proof that I had okayed to argue my point.
3. Floor retractable banner broke after the first use.
4. Case for large backdrop display was broken to the point that it is unusable after only one shipment (this was a $200 case). I contacted them about getting a refund or credit to my account and they said that they could do nothing and I should contact the shipping company/insure my shipments. I need to order a new graphic for the backdrop and was going to order through them if they replaced the case, but now it’s cheaper just to order a whole new backdrop through a different company.

None of these problems were my fault, yet Ace is unwilling to do anything to remedy the matter: I’m left with a pile of expensive, broken, misprinted things along with the need to re-work these items into my marketing budget to purchase somewhere else.

To juxtapose this experience: I recently made an order via a different company (Vistaprint – I promise I don’t work for them haha) and there was an error that was entirely my fault. They were so helpful and after a 2-minute chat with their customer service, the issue was resolved and my account was credited. Definitely just going with them from now on.

Shout out to Courtney for trying to help here! She’s the reason I gave 2 stars instead of just one.

Update:
A representative from Ace reached out to me and these items are being reimbursed/replaced. It sounds like this was an anomaly – a kind of perfect storm of everything going wrong with the same order. My items are being replaced/reimbursed and it sounds as if new processes are being put on place to prevent similar errors in the future.

So overall this was still a lot more time/effort than anticipated, but at this point, they’ve done everything I feel is possible to rectify the situation.

Although we were promised 1 day lead time, due to an issue with production, our product would arrive late. The customer service representative was gracious and shipped it as express at no cost to us. I appreciate the effort that they made to ensure that we received the product in a timely manner.

Ace Exhibits was accessible, responsive, and hands-on from the beginning of my project through its completion. From my STAR salesman, Thomas, answering all of my questions during the order phase, to the STAR graphics team helping us with our last minute to deadline uploads, to the STAR customer service team seamlessly changing our shipping to overnight at the last minute so that we could have our banners ready for our expo that weekend, we can't recommend them enough. They are a rare bread and valuable resource for any business looking for these items.
