False advertising on refunds

Ordered the S3 Breeze 85mm, which turned out to be out of stock. Fine, these things happen. What's not fine is the endless back and forth just to get a resolution, being promised a "full refund" and then receiving significantly less than what I paid(-5%). When I questioned it I was told to contact my bank. My bank's fees don't come close to explaining the difference.

Save yourself the headache and shop somewhere that actually stands behind their customers.

Basically due to an issue on their part, I had to choose between the following:

1. Wait 2 more months for my order
2. Take a "full refund" minus $26.66 which was NOT communicated to me. Full means FULL. Your issue, you pay any extra fees that is a result of it.
3. Order another product and pay the differance.

NASTY returns policy

Beware that Acedeck Electric Skateboards has a NASTY return policy on unopened items.
I ordered the wrong model on a Saturday. Less than 15 hours later I asked to cancel and they claimed it had already shipped. That may or may not be true.
Regardless, it's going to be a 20% restocking fee and they will also charge both the original shipping and return shipping. I get paying for the shipping, because it was my mistake.
But a 20% restocking fee for a brand new item? That's totally insane. It will be close to $200!
What's more, if you cancel before it is shipped there's a 5% nonrefundable cancellation fee! Who does that?!
Also, you must request a return within 2 days of delivery.
My guess is their customer service is terrible across-the-board.

A great company with boards that have some flaws

Overall a great company, you also get personal assistance on facebook from a great guy Olivier Dutertre. Bought the acedeck n1 board in 2023 and so far here's my experience with CS. Missed a free bashguard bundle by a few weeks. Asked them nicely and they sent out a free one. Griptape unsticking out of the box, free replacement arriving in under 2 weeks. Tubeless tyres leaking air out of the sides, 4 tubes were sent out for free. The MAJOR issue i had with a board was after 8 months of use. Something happened with the ESC (speed controller) while going downhill (so no brakes, it lost connection with a remote never to be working again. Since I was out of the warranty by 2 months, I purchased it myself for 250 euros, as they provided a 50 euro discount. In their defence about a week earlier, i accidentally put a reverse mode and bumped into a fence at 3mph bending a protective bashguard for the motors just a little bit, but i doubt it was a reason for the ESC issues as ive seen more and more reports of that happening. So far i think its one of the best esk8 companies out there simply for their value and customer support
