In a month I went from not even sitting behind a wheel to passing first time with 1 minor with Nathan! Calm and patient guy, made me feel confident in myself and my ability.

I had never had any luck passing my driving test when being a learner for 4 years. I had taken 7 tests before choosing to go with acclaim and worked with two of their now driving instructor Amrit and John. Both instructors were lovely, calm and insightful different to other instructors I had in the past. Whilst unsuccessful with my first test with John I then later passed with Amrit couldn’t recommend him enough as a driving instructor! The services at Acclaim are excellent and organised (I had 10 days before my next test and they were able to are to find 10 hours for me with an instructor that suited my location/timings etc). If you’re looking to finally pass your driving test I definitely recommend going with acclaim!

Most understanding of the requirement for me to get back on the road driving after my brain-bleed/stroke.
Specifically trained, and very competent driving instructor to update technical points, and prioritise what to mentally concentrate on,to requalify post age 70!

I loved my driving lessons with Anselm kersten , he was an amazing drinking teacher, went thought everything with me in grate detail and was so patient when I did not understand things , I am very grateful to him for helping me pass my driving test , I would recommend acclaim driving to anyone who what's to start driving !!!

Completed a 7 day intensive course with Craig and can only say positive things, he was always calm, reassuring and never made me feel judged for making a mistake, also really helped build my confidence behind the wheel and thanks to him I was able to pass my practical driving test on my first attempt. Could not recommend him more!

I recently passed my driving test first time thanks to the incredible driving instructor Jan Dodson! He is an amazing teacher with a great, patient teaching approach! I'm very grateful to have had Jan as my instructor and I highly recommended him to everyone else!

I can’t recommend Jonathan enough. I passed my driving test first time thanks to him. He’s patient and calm and knows exactly how to teach without overloading me with too much info. Every lesson was the perfect balance of instruction and independence. I was really nervous/ flappy at times but he always remained calm and helped me over come my over thinking and really helped improved my driving skills and to understand the car. Thanks so much!

Would highly recommend. I had never done any driving lessons before and was very nervous. Gary was my instructor for two weeks, he was always on time and friendly. Encouraging when needed and listened when I spoke about needing some more practice on roundabouts. Intensive courses can sometimes feel overwhelming, Gary was excellent at bringing some joy and laughter to the long lessons!

Acclaim and Darshan in particular really dug us out of a hole, whereby my daughter’s instructor could not support her in the final weeks before her test. Darshan was very encouraging, and in a very short space of time helped build her confidence, gave her pointers and conducted a mock test. He did such a fabulous job that she passed with just 4 minors. Thanks Darshan and Acclaim you really were stars!

I’m very disappointed with how my recent experience was handled. I had to cancel my lesson because I was unwell and had injured my hand at work on the same day. I informed Nadira as soon as possible, yet I wasn’t told that I would lose the £70 lesson fee for cancelling. If I had known about the 48-hour cancellation policy, I would have made a different decision.

I understand that schools have policies, but I believe it’s the instructor’s responsibility to remind students of them—especially when a genuine emergency happens on the same day. Instead of being understanding or communicative, I received no reply after explaining my situation, which felt unprofessional and dismissive.

I previously recommended this instructor to others, but this situation made me feel that the service prioritises money over fairness or empathy. I’m very disappointed and will not continue my lessons here.

Great Driving Instructor
I passed on the first attempt with only 3 driving faults.
When I was on the test , I could hear his voice in my head Mirror , signal , gear . No coasting , anticipate .

Everything was very clear on the website, staff on the phone were very helpful and quick and Gilbert my instructor was amazing at his job and got me to pass first time round.

I appreciated that everything was easy to do online. Whenever I needed to call the company, the staff were professional and helpful. The best thing was that I was able to find a fantastic instructor who really helped me love driving.

I completed a 3 day intensive course with Mark and can't recommend him enough put me at ease. He seen my bad habits within 1st 10mins of initial lesson and explained to me the easiest way to correct. Passed with ease. Thank you Mark

I didn’t had much time before my test, yet the instructor (Habtom) helped me cover most of the things that needed to be done. Was very helpful and guided me through the process. Thanks a lot to Habtom and acclaim for my wonderful achievement.
