I have loved training with the AMC. Everything from the fresh, clear resources and course materials through to the great support and advice I have received from my mentor Julie.

But most of all it is the sense of community! I have felt included and welcome from day 1 - with regular check ins possible, an online community at your finger tips. You are never alone!

My mentor put me totally at ease and was always available with some VERY good advice. She was amazing. The website is easy to use, you can go at your own pace and help is always at hand on other platforms too. Go for it!

Excellent course, very thorough and has stood me in good stead to take things forward. I was actually privileged to have been trusted to lead a ceremony whilst still training and was able to see how all the information I learned could be put into action.

Studying with the AMC has been perfect for me. I specifically wanted a programme that I could take at my own pace, so the self study component was really important. I also knew I would need people and practical experience to help me really embed my learning, and that's where the weekly Q&A discussions online, the Facebook community and the dedicated time with a mentor for each qualification, really appealed to me. And it has not disappointed!

I have just completed my Namings qualification and have learned a lot not just from the excellent online materials, but also from the experience and wisdom of my mentor, Sonal. Thank you for making even the final assessment an enjoyable experience, Sonal, and for inspiring me onto even greater things on the path to being a Master Celebrant.

The mix of self-study and mentor support really worked for me. I really enjoyed moving through each stage at a pace that worked for me and felt really supported through the mentoring stage.
I would really encourage anyone thinking of doing this to just give it a go, I managed to fit it in while still working three days a week, family responsibilities etc. and I'm now qualified and ready to go with my business.

The courses offered me a great way to train, the self study at your own pace with the opportunity to access great support from the other resources, the weekly Q&A sessions and support from the larger AMC community of both experienced celebrants, people who were on the same path as me, and mentors. There was always a resource to help me when I needed it. Then I loved the opportunity at the end of self study to learn from the best, the chosen mentors who guided me and shared their knowledge and experience and there critique and business know how to enable me to create with all that input, and continue to offer the best ceremonies. I enjoyed all of it and learnt so much about myself, gained confidence and knowledge that I need to become a successful celebrant

Really good company to learn with. Website looks great and access to modules is easy and available on the move. Great content, my mentor was really positive, kept me moving forward at a good pace, shared her experiences to support my learning, really enjoyed my experience, would highly recommend.

The AMC provides a flexible, modern and user-friendly training, ideal for part-time study at your own pace. The mentor period is great for personalised constructive feedback. I would thoroughly recommend the AMC to anyone considering celebrant training.

The funeral course is very inciteful, very well laid out and very in depth . It really gives you a thorough overview of the industry . I would thoroughly recommend this course.

My Funeral celebrant training with AMC has been exceptional throughout. I have been guided through with professionalism, from the video clips, quizzes and assessments. The time spent with my mentor Julie was invaluable, and her feedback and knowledgeable advice has given me the confidence and enthusiasm to move forward in this next exciting chapter of my life. Training with the AMC has been such a positive experience from start to finish. The whole process is really easy to follow - it’s modern, well-structured, and professional without ever being overwhelming, it takes you through everything you need to know and practise, step-by-step.

One of the standout parts for me has been the support, especially from my mentor, Laura. She’s been incredibly encouraging, approachable, and generous with her guidance. No question ever felt too small, and she always knew exactly how to build my confidence while helping me grow.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the Funeral Celebrant Course and have learnt a lot. It is great to watch the videos and get invaluable tips from experienced celebrants and then engage in the script writing and presenting of it. Knowing that you are just a quick email away from having your questions answered is invaluable.
I did get a little bit anxious that I wasn’t going to finish the mentoring stage on time but I think I just panicked, it was fine! My mentor, Sonal Dave, gave me great feedback and has been fabulous. Thank you Sonal and thank you Academy of Modern Celebrancy.

The training was really insightful and well set out. I was lucky enough to have time to fully dedicate which was really helpful.

Gained a great deal of good advice from experienced Celebrants. Very informative workbooks. Good blend between self study and the mentor programme. Very useful and detailed on the structure and style of a great ceremony.I chose the funeral of a 2 day old baby as it took me out of my comfort zone.

I felt supported throughout the journey. The online elements felt relevant and meaningful - guiding me through relevant processes and suggesting suitable structures for ceremonies. My mentor time was also invaluable. Honest, direct, and so - so - supportive.

Even though it was an online course I felt very involved. The course was very user-friendly & the videos & guidelines were compact, informative, & very interesting. The course was challenging & a lot more time-consuming than I had imagined. Having said that however, I learnt so much & really enjoyed doing the research & learning to consolidate information to deliver an interesting, personal, & informative script. Once I was assigned my mentor Laura, it was great to get additional guidelines & tips, especially when it came to the Recording & Live. Laura was so encouraging & I really appreciated her confidence in me. I am so happy to have achieved the accreditation & am so looking forward to guiding couples to create their own personal ceremony, to celebrate the most important day of their lives with their family & friends.

Excellent course. Easy to access online and videos are great, not loads of reading! A practical course. I do not know how I would have embarked in a career of celebrancy without this training! It helps you consider so many aspects and helps you to become a true professional.

AMC have an amazing platform for all levels of learning no matter what background of life you come from when you start this celebrant journey you feel supported, welcomed and with the additional areas to gain further knowledge it is worth the investment. AMC provides a safe place to air your views and gain knowledge and support from others which has made my experience really great. I have completed two modules now having felt very daunted at first. I’m now really excited to be starting my third course in the future and becoming a master celebrant.
