Such an amazing experience. Jenny, Bob and the crew are so kind and so knowledgeable. Finding wheelchair accessible tours in other countries can be difficult but they handled everything.

About Ireland Taxi Tours is a child of the Covid pandemic, what does that mean? Before Covid we ran a very successful small local tour company About Cork Taxi Tours and when Covid happened I took the time to step back and look at not just what we were doing right but how we were doing it. I took the opportunity to reach out to like minded professional taxi drivers from all over Ireland who were doing tours in their local area and asked them if they would work with me. Today those professional local taxi drivers are the beating heart of the business, giving client the benefit of their local knowledge and expertise. Travelling with About Ireland Taxi Tours allows you to uncover all that Ireland has to offer, at your own pace and tailored around your specific interests. Whether you’re seeking Irish beauty spots, historical landmarks or places of interest off the beaten track, our team of drivers are all local experts with plenty of knowledge and trivia to share with you along the way. We specialise in intercity transfer tours which allows you to see the best of Ireland as you travel to your destination. and make the most your time in Ireland with About Ireland Taxi Tours. The most effective way to travel around Ireland allows you to choose the destination points or pick from set our tour routes that cover all the must-see spots to bespoke itineraries to visit family heritage places or just to get off the beaten track. There will be days you want to explore a city, do something magical like walk a hawk explore a national park, hop a ferry to the Aran islands or just take a day to relax and chill out With the About Ireland Taxi Tours multi driver tour option, you only pay for the days you’re using our service making touring with us probably the most cost effective way to see the emerald isle.

Day trip from Belfast to Derry
We booked a “day” travel from Belfast to Derry, including stops both personal and touristy. Michael, our driver, was incredibly accommodating! Michael is resourceful, informative and very engaging. He shared some fantastic stories and set us up with a tour guide in Derry. Michael went out of his way to make us feel welcome. He even lent his coat to one of us because it was cold at the Giants Causeway.

Julia you were a pleasure to deal with and Michael really enjoyed his day with you and your family
About Ireland Taxi is an amazing and…
About Ireland Taxi is an amazing and affordable resource for visitors to Ireland. Jody, of the Traveling in Ireland Podcast, connected me with Bob and we could not have been happier with his prompt responses to my many questions from Day 1. We were able to work with him to plan a driver for both of our airport transfers and a day trip to Connemara. Our driver, Brendan, went above and beyond for our family of 6, suggesting stops and additional outings that made our trip special and memorable. We will be reaching out to Bob for our next trip to Ireland and would highly recommend About Ireland Taxi Tours to anyone else!

Exceeded Expectations All Week!
We spent a week in Ireland (Galway, Dingle, Kinsale) for our family vacation and utilized Ireland Tax Tours for our group of 6 and couldn't have been more pleased. After deciding to not rent a car, we contacted multiple tour/taxi companies for quotes/suggestions and found Bob to be incredibly prompt, professional and informative - he genuinely wanted for our family to have the best experience in Ireland. He paired us with three different drivers (for each area) and all three - Brandon, Paudie and Barry were excellent. Each driver was unique and provided awesome tips throughout their time with us. We had Barry for the last three days and we feel like we are lifelong friends - he went out of his way to make my family remember Ireland forever. You are in good hands with Ireland Taxi Tours!
