Excellent customer service
Really helpful service in the Shrewsbury branch with a promise of a demonstration of the bath aid at our home. Despite the limitations of the Christmas period we were contacted promptly. Two men (apologies, can’t remember their names) came and demonstrated the appliance - no pressure, just helpful, clear and courteous advice. We decided to buy but unfortunately the charger was missing. This was delivered to us later the same day. It’s a difficult moment in life when we have to acknowledge that we need any of the products stocked by Ableworld but the professionalism and pleasant demeanour of those who dealt with us made it much easier. Thank you!

Excellent Service
I contacted Ableworld by phone to ensure they stocked the product I wanted. Kathy was very helpful and put aside the product for me to collect. An hour later I arrived to collect it. Kathy was friendly and professional and explained the various parts to me. I could have not wished for better service.
Thoroughly recommend this store.

Genuine, thoughtful and helpful advice
Fantastic, friendly service from the Shrewsbury team. Third time using this company (on this occasion I bought a mobility scooter) Gavin and James delivered two models for me to try at home (I live in a difficult rural area), they carefully demonstrated each and ensured I was completely comfortable with their use. One of things I like and appreciate about about Abelworld is there is absolutely no pressure to buy, just genuine, thoughtful and helpful advice. Thoroughly recommend.

I went to Shrewsbury store on 23rd march
I went to Shrewsbury store on 23rd march pete & Emma were so helpful guided me in every detail about the best mobility scooter for me, no pressure, made sure I could use it myself - taking apart to fit in the car, driving around car park, brought it home same day. Very happy with my experience.

Bad service all round
My mother bought a walker and had it less than 3 weeks before a wheel buckled. Ableworld refused to fix it, or replace it or offer the refund that was asked for. They were rude and belligerent and made up lies about the damage so they could avoid paying a pensioner her money back. Avoid at all costs.

Heathgate Excellent Customer Service
Called in at the Heathgate store and was served by Peter. He was attentive, courteous and knowledgeable. Although on this occasion he was not able to help as my husbands needs are very precise and our budget didn’t allow us to purchase a new power chair. He together with a young lady from the store spent almost two hours with us and at no time were we made to feel anything but important. Excellent customer service.

thinking of buying a riser/recliner?
My advice to anyone thinking of buying a riser recliner chair is to order it well before you need it. I wanted a chair for my 96 yr old mother who needed to elevate her legs after a fall, and over a month later still no chair. Despite giving them her weight and height, chairs of entirely the wrong size were sent out on demo, and then a 'petite' could not be found in any of their other stores. It was another week before one was ordered from the manufacturer. My mother died still waiting for the chair.

Great service
Just had a call from the engineer in Shrewsbury my recliner chair stopped working, it turned out it was the remote control, ordered new one and came and fixed today, very nice person, came on time when they said they would, also my scooter would not open or close he fixed that for me as well, very helpful and professional

I went into Ableworld ,Shrewsbury not knowing what to do. I was met by a lovely lady called Sarah who put me at my ease and helped me and imparted knowledge of her job.
She was kind but very efficient and had patience with me. I came out very satisfied with a mobility scooter.

They sell sub standards equipment
My mother brought a bath lift from there and when we got it home noticed a piece of the plastic was broken took it back to the store and they refused to refund it or replace it saying someone must have lent of the box to break it
What is this bath lift made of if it can break if a person can lean on it and break a piece of plastic it’s suppose to be able to lift a person out of the bath !!!! We hadn't even had chance too use it only took it out of the box when we noticed the the piece of plastic was broken off Won’t be shopping there again terrible service
