Very disappointed
Since this has come out I've been wanting to get tickets but couldnt afford it so I finally got 2 tickets to go 15th july 3pm me and my sister in law left over an hour before the time and we was only coming from leytonstone so we had plenty of time to eat an grab a drink in the arena so we got a cab we was stuck in traffic all the rds were closed off because westham was having a monster truck event over 30 thousand people so we was told go this way ho that way to end up back to where we was pudding lane station was also closed so time was gettin on we ended up getting out the cab at 3.45 but no where near the arena coz we was gettin told go this way by the security there was no emails or a ythink to say about all the roads being closed so end up not goin coz by the time we had got there show was over I waited so long to find the money to get tickets so I could finally go but didnt end up getting there because of the roads and the station closed off so no fault of ours I am very dissapointed an upset and I cant find a number to speak to someone about this it's all virtal and it's wrong I've lost out because off this
The light effects were good
The light effects were good. We were seated in row A and it mostly felt fake. The stadium was amazing for a real concert but there was some weird dubbing going on sometimes which was totally unconvincing. Plus the Avatar film in the middle - what was that all about. I’m guessing that if we were seated right at the front it may have been better but all in all a disappointment, and not worth the money.
Great show but spoiled by overcrowding and staff attitudes
The show itself was great but had drunk people by us on the dance floor bumping and falling into us, spilling drinks and then swearing at us. The ushers/security did not act to help us even though they were stood just behind us on the steps and could see what was happening and we asked for help. We went out of the auditorium and spoke to the manager who suggested that we moved to the side steps. He did not accompany us back in or check that we were ok. We tried to but it was so crowded that we encroached on those already there and again all the ushers were interested in was getting us off the steps and into the overcrowded throng asap. After the show which finished at 2.40 (later than advertised) there were enormous queues for the ladies - insufficient capacity at peak times it seems. This left five minutes to get a drink (having been in a very hot environment) and visit the shop which they announced were both closing at 3pm. Having got a drink we were told abruptly by another member of security staff that we couldn’t drink it in the venue as it was closing. When we picked it up to take it outside with us we were told by the same man we couldn’t take it out with us either. He then stood over us while we hurriedly had to gulp the drinks. Why oh why don’t they just keep the venue open for an hour after the show? They stand to make more money and have people leave happy and relaxed, rather than being rudely ushered like sheep from a pen having spent hundreds of pounds for a joyful experience. So top marks for the tech but an experience marred by overcrowding, a mean closing window and poor care and attitude of staff.
Disgusting
The venue and the show was brilliant I was evicted dir dancing 3 inches over the line the security bloke acted like I was a terrorist running to tell everyone and when the main security came the bloke in question was kicking off with a friend I was with like an animal the head of security clearly saw this bloke had no people skills and to me was straight out of belmarsh prison when I questioned the head of security about this person he didn't even know anything about him totally disgusted spoilt a good day
A PERFECT COVID BREEDING GROUND
The show itself was fabulous however the dance floor was a standing area with absolutely NO personal space .
This smacks of GREED, sell a few less so customers can move ! Also this is an intimate venue with no ventilation / a perfect breeding environment for viruses .
This was part of my 60th celebration and a treat after going through breast cancer and aggressive chemotherapy .
To cap it all I tested positive to COVID this morning which has to be attributed to overcrowding . THANKS FOR THAT 😫
I will not be recommending .

I paid 105£ to see abba look like a sims 4 extension pack. The lighting is insanely incredible I would to see this at a real live concert
Abba voyage absolutely amazing
Abba voyage absolutely amazing. Graphics music lighting atmosphere totally awesome .highly recommended
All ruined by one usher who threatened…
All ruined by one usher who threatened mid show to throw one our party out for taking 1 picture. Other people were videoing and constantly taking pictures. This was just 1. There are pictures and videos all over the internet. Posted since it started. No - you are not suppose to take photos, but many people do. No trying to forgive her for taking a photo - but threatening to eject her mid show. Come on. And such a shame as the rest of the staff and the experience was incredible. I’d go elsewhere. Never had this in any other London Theatre.
Overpriced graphics extravangza
I don't get it. Over £100 to be squeezed into a venue and paying vast amounts of money for over-priced food and drink. The graphics, while impressive, are still not to the point where you wouldn't realise that they are computer generated (the hand movements in particular are a long way away from where they need to be). Half the songs are obscure Abba songs rather than the hits you may be coming to see and the middle part of the show is some random cartoon of a character flying through space and jumping up and down on massive flowers, like a high-budget Mario. Waterloo should be the highlight of the show, but some screens come down and we just watch them singing the song at the Eurovision song contest in 1974
Of course, YMMV, but if this is the future of live entertainment as many professional reviewers claim, then the future of live music is dark indeed
Disappointed
Looked forward to this show for a while but it was a bit anti climatic for us. Disappointed the show did not contain more of the ‘older’ more popular ABBA songs. The animation in the middle of the show was confusing. Live band was too loud. Duration 90 minutes - too short. Abbatars were good although not absolutely synced at times. Eurovision item was just a clip. We were seated but the dance floor in front of us was seemed very packed. Lighting was amazing - we did enjoy that but expected more from the music. In our opinion ABBA Voyage is definitely not worth the ticket price. Also the recommendation to ‘arrive early’ is an obvious marketing ploy to get people in to buy the overpriced merchandise/food/alcohol. Programmes £15 - no thanks!
29th April actual date
I thought the seated tickets overpriced. We would have had as much or as little enjoyment at a three dimensional cinema screening .Tricky to reach venue, why does everything have to be London based? Not recommended
Went 31st March
Went 31st March - we had 4 tickets £530 and then had 4 people stand/dance in the row infront of us from the second song onwards. We asked the stewards and the manager to get them to sit but they refused to sit, also gave me a load of verbal when I asked them to sit. Sent a number of emails after the event but had one reply which was totally inadequate. I see others on here have had similar issues. Disappointed they can’t deal with this. Just ignored.
Cost £186.40 for two tickets
Cost £186.40 for two tickets. We’re told to be on time as couldn’t enter late to spoil the performance…what a joke we were BL G row A…it was a thoroughfare…people were allowed back and forth to buy drink all through the performance, it was so frustrating and distracting, all about making money. I was very disappointed at the length of performance, choice of songs, almost half the show was taken up with cartoons, video and backing singer. I admit the lighting and special effects were amazing but I was left flat and disappointed . So few of the hits …obviously saving them for ABBA Voyager 2!
Tried to contact Ticket Master as when I booked no mention of hundreds of people would be walking backwards and forwards past the seats….but unable to find any contact details!
Unique Experience!
Unique Experience!
We were looking forward to the show after hearing all the hype and it was definitely a unique experience.
You would actually think ABBA were performing live.
The old video footage used for Waterloo was disappointing as we’ve already seen it in TV, plus we couldn’t understand why some songs were shown as a video with the Abbatars performing along side…..just show the Abbatars.
Truly an experience worth seeing and as we left we waved goodbye…..and my Son commented, ‘Why are you waving….they’re not actually there!’ 😂
Lucky to have seen this a 2nd time…
Lucky to have seen this a 2nd time however were on row K. Not wanting to spoil it however the 'flying discs' and 'coloured rain drops' did get in the way as they were very distracting.
If you go, I'd suggest a low as seat as you can.
Sadly, my 83 yr old father was told he couldn't use the nearby toilet and had to walk around the centre, through throngs of people trying to leave to get to one.
Fantastic show well worth a visit
Fantastic show well worth a visit , seating and venue were clean and great view , friendly and helpful staff , make a run for the loo though after the show has ended as there were huge queuing
Overpriced and over-rated
Far too expensive for a fake show. Lighting and technology were excellent, but poor choice of songs and strange choice of sing order. The audience were just waiting to really enjoy an upbeat ABBA classic to get them going, but instead of that, we had two dismal unknown songs to start with which dampened the atmosphere badly. The best bits were when the abbatars were on stage - albeit very, very small - but a good third of the time it was nonsensical cartoon type footage or just videos of ABBA singing. I found myself thinking repeatedly that I could have stayed at home and watched that. The sound was far, far too loud, to the point of hurting the ears so you couldn’t hear the songs properly. We found the whole thing slightly odd, especially when people were clapping and cheering ‘ABBA’ after they sang a song. We could not stop thinking of them as holograms, so it seemed strange to be treating them as if they were real. On the whole, we’re glad we went, but felt it was very over-rated, vastly overpriced and a bit weird and far too short a programme for the price. We saw a tribute band a few years ago in a large theatre and they soon got the audience going, whereas this show turned out to be a very damp squib in comparison.
ABBA voyage we loved.
ABBA voyage we loved.. the Ocean departure lounge is an absolute rip off.. some olives & cold charcuterie & some donuts & sponge cakes was not what was advertised no goody bag.. no program a bottle of water.. DO NOT WASTE YOUR £99 absolute sham..😡
18th birthday memories
From start to finish it was absolutely amazing. Oh what a night to remember. I took my daughter for her 18th birthday. Some of the songs were so personal to her . We loved every second. We were on the dance floor & we never stopped dancing & singing. We got dressed up just loved loved loved it. It was packed but while dancing just careful I didn't knock anyone. Would definitely recommend it. Happy memories forever 💖
Really disappointed!.The holograms were…
Really disappointed!.The holograms were amazing when you did get to see them which wasn’t for a vast amount of the performance.
They sang many of their new songs which I don’t have a problem with but not at the cost of some of their classics. The running order of the songs didn’t work, there were a couple of cartoons for two of the songs that I just didn’t understand.
The live band were incredible but they completely sang/played “does your mother know”,I went to see ABBA!
They showed old video footage of themselves singing various clips of Waterloo, which I could’ve watched at home.
And many songs we just had huge screens with them in rather than the holograms or they had huge mesh like screens with them on with the holograms playing on stage behind them.
Loved the stadium and the arena itself.
All in all very expensive for what it really is.
