They are very dismissive
They are very dismissive. The registration process is unnecessarily long winded and should have been told there are no jobs instead of wasting my time for over 3 months, making me spend money acquiring unnecessarily documents and trainings only not to complete the registration. Was told you only need last 3 years reference and you got for at least a year and the rest was covered because I was on maternity and yet they would not complete compliance. I had to chase them numerous times and kept hearing we will look at it and send to compliance, then he or she says it ok and then it’s another new invented excuse. All that was left was to ask for a pound of my flesh literally. I find this company dodgy, I had wanted to join many years ago and didn’t bother completing registration with them then because they frustrate you while registering. I went with MSI, Pertemp. nursing Personal etc then. Many years still their process lacks intuition and a hell raiser. Unfortunately due to changes in NHS, other agencies are struggling with shifts now but have the conscientious and honesty to be upfront about this and not waste your time.

False advertising of pay rates
A24 claims to pay the best rates and on their pay rate calculator they also advertise high pay rates. However I worked my first shift for them last week in a nicu. I worked with 4 premature babies on cpap and got paid almost half of what I normally get with another private agency while working with less patients. What they advertise and really happens are not the same.... This is false advertising.

Intercare Polokwane Orientation
The Orientation was in a professional and advanced health care centre (Intercare Polokwane). Sister Irene and her staff received us well. Communication with A24 was impeccable. I wish orientation was longer because we had only 6hours even 12 hours would have been ideal.
