I passed my driving test first time this morning and Babar has been the most wonderful instructor! Great for very nervous drivers like myself- he puts you at ease and is very patient and thorough. I felt very supported through the whole process and Babar is so dedicated to your learning and getting you that pass! Thank you ☺️

Moazzam was the best instructor ive ever had and the best i could have asked for and honestly without him i wouldn’t have passed this strongly and confidently. What a beautiful man :)

I had a really good driving experience with my instructor Haji Akhtar. He is patient, calm and explains everything clearly. He is very hardworking and has put a lot of effort into helping me improve my driving skills. His supportive and professional approach made learning easier and less stressful. I would definitely recommend him to others..💯

I started from scratch never sat behind a wheel until I got Manny as my instructor, excellent teaching experience and very friendly. Passed on my first try

My instructor Serwan Abdullah was an amazing teacher! I only had a couple months worth of lessons before my test but he helped me feel confident as a driver and for my test.

He was very reliable, always on time and clear communication at all times! Thank you so much Serwan!

Uni student in Derby started my lessons in January done roughly 10 hours and passed first time in Ashfield, progressed each lesson and had the option to work on what I wanted. Do ur lessons here it’s certified 🫡

Ateeq is a great driving instructor! Very patient, calm, and explains everything clearly. Helped me build confidence quickly and made fully prepared for my test. Passed with 1 minor. Highly recommend!

I just have to say, if you are truly serious about becoming a safe and confident driver especially if you are trying to correct old habits or build new one then Muhammad Tanveer is just brilliant. He takes the time to give detailed, step-by-step feedback, and you can tell he really cares. I had a fantastic experience, and I would absolutely recommend A1 Driving academy, and especially Muhammad Tanveer, to anyone looking for a top-tier learning experience.

Ateeq you legend, passed first time with 2 minors, after taking me on from another instructor short notice didn’t fail to teach me everything I needed to know, thank you so much and all the best in the future

I had a really great experience learning to drive with Muazzam. He was incredibly patient, friendly, and so easy to talk to, which made every lesson enjoyable and stress-free. He explained everything in such a clear and simple way and his teaching style really helped me improve quickly. Most importantly, he helped build my confidence on the road. Thanks to his fantastic support and guidance, I was able to pass my driving test first time! I couldn’t recommend him highly enough to anyone looking for a supportive and effective driving instructor.

I passed first time all thanks to Tanzeel. He was so incredibly patient and kind, explained everything thoroughly and answered all my silly questions. I honestly can't thank him enough!

I’m so happy to share that I passed my driving test today! 🚗🎉
This is my first time with my instructor, Manny from A1 driving and I couldn’t have done it without him honestly, I got 6 minors and passed. He is brilliant! his hands-on teaching style and effective guidance made such a huge difference for me. He put in so much effort to build my confidence behind the wheel and really helped me believe in my driving abilities.

Because of Manny’s support and patience, I discovered more about my driving skills and became much more confident on the road. I’m truly grateful for the time, effort, and encouragement he gave me throughout the journey.

Thank you so much, Manny. I really appreciate everything you did to help me get here! 🙏 Goodluck and Godbless!

Amazing instructor (manny) very patient and knowledgeable, definitely the best there

I passed my driving test first time thanks to Haji at A1 Driving School, and I couldn’t be happier!Haji is a very patient, calm, and professional instructor. He explains everything clearly and makes sure you fully understand each manoeuvre and road situation. He helped build my confidence step by step and always made me feel comfortable, even when I was nervous.

He focused on the areas I needed to improve and made sure I was fully prepared for test day. Because of his excellent teaching and support, I felt confident going into my test — and I passed first time!I highly recommend Haji and A1 Driving School to anyone looking for a supportive and knowledgeable driving instructor. Thank you again!

I had a fantastic experience with A1 Driving Academy! Thanks to their professional and patient instruction, I passed my driving exam. Thank you Brother Muazzam.

I had two instructors from A1 Driving School and both showed behaviour that raises major safeguarding and professionalism concerns.

Instructor 1:

Constant lateness and last‑minute cancellations

Long personal lectures instead of teaching

Cutting lessons short but charging full price

Instructor 2 (Asif):

Took me on his weekly shopping trips during my paid lesson

Made personal phone calls while I was driving

Raised his voice in front of my children

Used lesson time for his own errands, not instruction

This is not a minor issue — it’s a clear safeguarding red flag. No learner or child should be exposed to this.

Management response:
When I reported all of this, the owner and manager refused to take any action. They offered only a partial refund, said that was “good enough,” then hung up the phone. When I called back, I was told, “I’ve got nothing more to say to you,” and they hung up again.

A driving school that ignores safeguarding concerns and dismisses complaints is not safe. I strongly advise avoiding A1 Driving School.

My instructor was Muhammad Tanveer Ahmad and he was a very good instructor has a lot of patience and helped me pas my test first time with only 1 minor we did lots of practice and prep beforehand and it was all worth it

I passed my driving test first time with 20 hours of lessons due to Haji being a terrific driving instructor. He gave me great confidence and taught me everything I needed to know!
