ummm well it's been 4 days since I ordered and I opted for and paid for the 48hr delivery by royal mail and it's not arrived yet, is it going to arrive today? unlikely but who knows. if this is a sign of things to come then I'm not expecting great service from these. why pay for a particular type of delivery if you can't provide it?

Dear Markus, after conducting an extensive investigation on this transaction, we've managed to identify the following:
1. The order 728971, with the website reference 230138, was placed on 17 Jan 2022 15:59, therefore missing the cut-off time for same-day dispatch.
2. The order was dispatched the following day, 18 Jan 2022 9:44 by Ewan.
3. The order was shipped via Royal Mail 2nd Class Letter, currently 3-5 working days.
4. The time frame for the delivery would have been 21-23 January.
The website displays a 'Free 48 hour Delivery' and the postal service assigned in Linnworks was 'Royal Mail 2nd Class Letter' - This may have caused the delay in fulfilling our delivery promise. Due to too many shipping rules, the filter did not give the order the correct 1st class postal service which we are now including in all orders to prevent this happening again.
fast service
fast service, thought the board may have been a little firmer, but very happy all the same
