We have gone with this company when we first opened in the hopes to do some advertisement via a local estate agents in Essex.
What they didn't mention during the sign up and their only response now is 'it is in the T&Cs' is the auto renewal that is clearly a common issue across all previous comments.
It is usually hard enough for small companies to keep going, so when you do have a company that has ZERO common courtesy to set up an 'auto renewal notification' is simply wrong.
We have spoken to several other companies who deal with golf courses and other types of advertisements since who have ditched the auto renewal or have set up a reminder system. So we would highly recommend looking for an alternative option, who genuine do care.
Because if the deal was so great, they wouldn't feel like they need to catch their customers out!
Not to mention that they sent us an email 2 months after renewal to tell us that it has renewed!
And to top it off we are now paying £2,688.00 for out of date advertisement that the link doesn't work for and the dates are 2 years out and you have ZERO ways of knowing whether they have given any out!
It has taken them 2 years to send us a hard copy also.
Their auto response again was 'we can work something out' which is still after full amount is absolutely unworkable.
Their other auto response is they care about customers feedback, which they don't because looking at all the previous reviews, if they did they would have set up a reminder system or abolished the auto renewal!

We do appreciate your concerns surrounding the renewal process and understand that automatic renewals can be frustrating where expectations differ. Our agreements are business-to-business advertising contracts and, as outlined within the signed terms and conditions, renew automatically unless notice is provided within the agreed timeframe. While the renewal clause is included within the contract documentation provided at sign-up, we acknowledge your comments regarding reminder communications and appreciate the feedback you have provided.
In relation to your publication, we are sorry to hear of the issues you have raised regarding outdated content and links. We would always encourage clients to contact us if amendments or updates are required so these can be reviewed and addressed as quickly as possible. We also apologise for the delay in receiving a hard copy of the publication.
We do take customer feedback seriously and are continuously reviewing our processes and communication procedures internally.
We appreciate your comments and thank you again for your feedback.
Don't waste your money
If you are a small business approached to advertise in one of their estate agents brochure, don't bother. We have spent a siginificant amount of money and received absolutely no return, not a single enquiry. Their model is based on giving estates agents free brochures paid for by adverts from local businesses. One of their worst tactics, is their automatic renewals process, which is very underhand. Not once during the first 2 years did they reach out to see if we were happy with their service, what results we had got and whether we wanted to make any changes to the advert when the automatic renewal occured.
To me it feels like, hard sell, take your money and run, then automatic renewal, take your money and run again. As I said at the start if you are a small business and are approached by them to advertise, don't bother. We have now had to spend our entire marketing budget for 4 years on 3Media and have had absolutely NOTHING in return.
When we have approached them about there costs and our disatisfaction with their automatic renewal, all they say is 'we understand'......no they don't, they really don't, as a small business trying to establish ourselves, they have had a direct impact on our bottom line and the growth of our business.
And I expect a similar response to this review, all a load of rubbish about how we understand, how we will take your views on board, but I can guarantee nothing will change and they will continue with the way they work. We for one will never use them again or recommend their services to any other small business.

Our publications are designed to provide long-term brand exposure through estate agency distribution, and while many advertisers achieve positive engagement, we do understand that marketing outcomes can vary significantly depending on the type of business, market conditions, advert content, offer positioning and follow-up strategy.
We also appreciate your comments regarding communication throughout the agreement period. We always aim to provide a professional and transparent service, and we are sorry you feel we fell short in this instance. Your feedback regarding ongoing account contact and renewal discussions has been noted internally and will be reviewed with the relevant teams.
With regards to renewals, these are outlined within the signed agreement documentation at the outset of the campaign, including the notice terms and renewal structure. However, we understand that contractual processes can still feel frustrating, particularly for smaller businesses managing tight marketing budgets.
We never want any client to feel unheard, and we are sorry to read how strongly you feel about the experience overall. We do appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback.
We agreed for 1 year trial advertisement for our joinery compony
We agreed for a trial advertisement for one year through Brockenhurst Estate Agents . 3 Media did not let us know that it was auto renewing . they sent no emails prior to auto renewing and for several months at the end of our contract radio silence . Absolutely no contact from them until it was too late to cancel . they have been extremely unhelpful. we are a small business and find it hard when company's play these games . I would highly recommend that you stay well clear of this compony if you prize honesty .
We feel they are very underhand in there selling as we only wanted a year from the very beginning. At the very least we would expect a email or some form of contact prior to the renewal. Even more so as the only contact was for payment way after the renewal date witch left us no cooling off period .
