I used to love 222 and have made amazing friends through their experiences. However, I suddenly lost access to almost all events, despite being a regular attendee and making no changes to my profile.

My friends can still see and attend events almost every day, while I'm practically excluded. After months of politely asking for an explanation, support keeps giving me the same vague answers about "compatibility" and refuses to explain what actually changed.

I don't know if this has something to do with my skin color religion, but I've now read that other users have experienced similar treatment and raised concerns about discrimination as well.

I've tried repeatedly to resolve this privately, but 222 has shown little willingness to address my actual concerns.

Wonderful community, but extremely disappointing management and customer service. I would think twice before paying for a subscription.

This company fraudulently charged my card weeks after closing an account when they stated my info had been deleted but clearly was not. They refuse to provide proof of removing my information. They have no address, no contact phone number with a human being (only text messages) and are aggressively mining personal data for profit under the guise of connection and should be shut down for fraudulent charges if nothing else.

The app glitched, so I contacted them directly to cancel my subscription. They told me I would have to resubscribe in order to cancel, which did not make sense. Despite my request to cancel, they continued billing me every month afterward.

Absolute joke of a system. I attempted to sign up to events for 4 months, being added to a "waitlist" and told last minute they don't have space, like clockwork. Meanwhile, they charge their fee while you're waiting for the denial, then take weeks to refund it. They clearly don't respect anyone's time or money.

Really really fun.
I'm so happy I gave this a shot, I was very skeptical at first. They have planned everything down to a tee.

Good matches, high quality events, they even have a product to help you split the bill!

Scam company. Charged monthly fee with only one event for the month, I couldn't attend.

Tried again today, was charged a full month for "curation" of an event they didn't have room for.

Buyer beware!

My event kept getting cancelled and weird text based mechanism, no login and kinda weird email chatbot type website. And my event payment became subscription Im not sure if I get refunded for it or what. And no idea where this is going.

You're basically paying 22.22 a month (plus any extra event specific fees) to be waitlisted and rejected for events. You can't schedule your day around these, because you don't find out until last minute. When you express frustration that you're not allowed to attend when you paid for it, you're given an excuse about group matching. The few events I've attended were so-so, so Im not sure what matching they are talking about. Yes, I'm aware they give you money back, but they essentially are charging me for a subscription, event fees, knowing they will most likely reject me and then hold on to it and then refund me afterwards. If I sign up for an app to attend events, I expect to attend events, not be arbitrarily rejected and refunded. My money, and time are more valuable than that. If 222 wants to do the right thing, they should provide the service that customers pay for.

1.As if blindfolded with a google map of the city, they sent us to a touristy boomer restaurant straight out of a psych experiment. Despite being a social app for 20 & 30ish year olds, what retirement home trauma did they want us to bond over the most: the sea of geriatric joints creaking in the backdrop, the fluorescent overhead lighting prepping us for an alien abduction, or our escape plan from retirement home prison?

2.There’s an undisclosed first time curation fee- it’s shady that they don’t offer you a membership up front. They effectively stole $22 from me. I had booked the event then cancelled due to a scheduling conflict. Afterwards I bought a monthly membership and rebooked while the refund was pending. Decent customer service would have just rolled it over to a free month or a refund.
