Dear David,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations, and we would like to clarify how our system and costs work to clear up any misunderstanding.
Shipping Costs & The "Parking Service": When you placed your order, as it was a preorder, you selected our Parking Service at checkout. As stated in our policy, this service allows collectors to hold their items in storage to combine multiple purchases and save on postage, which is why the shipping cost was $0.00 at the initial checkout. When you requested delivery, our standard flat rate for express shipping (via UPS/FedEx) to the United States was applied, which is €32 (approx. $36 USD). For 6 cars, this breaks down to about $6 per car for a fast, secure, and fully tracked transatlantic shipment.
Customs Duties and Tariffs: The additional $6 per car you mentioned refers to import tariffs. As outlined in our international shipping policy, customs duties and taxes are levied by the destination country's government (US Customs) when a package enters the country. These fees are entirely outside our control, we do not collect them, and they are paid directly to the carrier/customs authorities by the recipient.
We always strive for maximum transparency, which is why all these details are explicitly detailed in our shipping and Parking Service FAQs before purchasing.
We apologize if this system felt confusing, and we appreciate your support as an international collector. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out to our customer service directly.
Best regards,
The 1-64Specialist Team

Positive experience with the customer support
It took awhile for the model I pre ordered to be shipped but when I asked the support about the status the contact was 5/5. When I received my order it was well packaged. All in all a very positive experience with this shop, I would order here again.
