trying to speak to VF regarding a line cancellation Just Ask Once - what a joke. I moved to VF in January. It took 4 weeks to get the lines broadband etc sorted. Now ive found out that I am being charged for a old copper line, when I dont need one. Ive been online and on the phone all afternoon trying to get some help. As usual no help!

My elderly uncle 80 years old was being robbed by virgin media,, they were charging him 104 A MONTH for TV and broadband.
I rang to cancel and argued how can u do this to a pensioner
They didn't care.
So I went with VODAFONE, NOW LOOK AT THIS,
Vodafone gave him tv, 1GB FIBER INTERNET ,HOUSE PHONE ALL FOR 42 A MONTH, FOR 6 MONTHS, THEN 70 FOR THE REMAINDER, 85 EURO CREDIT,, AND WILL PAY THE LAST BILL VIRGIN MEDIA WANTED 104 EURO,
SO BASICALLY VODAFONE WILL COVER THE MISTAKE OF VIRGIN MEDIA,

Easily the worst experience. Nothing online works, everything is broken and unintuitive, whoever they hired must have had 0 experience programming. I could recreate their entire digital footprint with the free tier of ChatGPT and it would be 100x better.

Yes, it really is that bad. If you are in Ireland, go with any other phone carrier. DO NOT be fooled by how good their employees and stores are, because the majority of the time you will dealing with their app or website, and you will hate yourself for it.

Had the pleasure to deal with Colin from the Clonakilty Vodafone store. Previously tried to sort an issue with Vodafone through the customer service which was a total disaster. Colin was the only one who actually knew what he is doing. He was super helpful through the whole process! He provided the best customer service!

With this company for 25 years have a family account with them 4 phones they were very good until last year. The contract agreed was not honoured there was extra charges up to 26 euro per month for last 6 months I was foolish believed it an error Have just agreed a new contract and paperwork just arrived not what was agreed over the phone Will be cancelling straight away, very dishonest of them contract nearly double the price agreed.

I moved into a house with an already existing Vodaphone broadband contract. The previous tenants and I thought it would be simple to transfer ownership, an obvious mistake in hindsight.
We filled out a form several times and sent it to multiple email addresses after being tossed around different branches by employees who were probably too overworked to check who should actually handle our case. Trying to get to someone on the phone never worked for either of us, the AI "assistant" hung up on us after several attempts, falsely claiming the account number didn't exist. Mind you, when we initially provided it, it went through with no issues, until it was time to actually transfer us over. The only way we got it to go through was by going to a branch in person.
The latest issue now comes with trying to log into my account. Trying to reset a password? "Something went wrong. Please try again later or contact us for help". By "contact us" they really mean talk with their AI chatbot, except it doesn't know what you mean when you say "reset password", and when it finally decides to toss you over to an actual human operator, turns out none are available at this time, "try again later".
This is what happens when you try to cut costs by deploying so called artificial "intelligence" and by stretching your human workforce thin. To be clear, I don't blame the workers in the slightest. The people we've actually managed to talk to have been lovely. They don't get to choose whether their hours or numbers get sliced or their incompetent higher-ups.
My household will be switching to a different provider at the earliest opportunity. By the looks of the ratio of 1-star ratings, we won't be the only ones.

I recently renewed my broadband contract with Vodafone and was promised that the annual increase (as happens every April) would not affect the new contract. I have now had 3 bills in a row where I have been overcharged (the bills included the annual increase). Each time I had to ring Vodafone to get them to amend the bill and was promised it would not happen again the following month but here we are again being overcharged. There doesn't seem to be any will to rectify the matter , I have to keep calling to get my monthly bill amended. Very frustrating , potential new customers please be wary.
