DriveTime Car Sales - Pensacola Arvostelua 

UPDATE: Can no longer recommend DriveTime for a reliable vehicle. We now have two cars with issues and after first being told that a repair would be covered, ow being told it is not. We are now faced with a $1600 fuel injector replacement after initially being told the motor needed to be replaced… which was covered by Silver Rock Warranty. Now my second purchase which is only two weeks off the lot has started having issues. I have not even made the first payment to them and it is having issues. Now I wonder if the warranty company will cover my repairs.

DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR FROM THEM.

If anything changes, I will update the review but for now… steer clear of DriveTime.

This is our second vehicle purchase in a year from DriveTime, and it is simply because of the easy and hassle free buying experience. There is no haggling with salesman and they won't mislead you with offers outside your budget.

I will always recommend DriveTime to friends and family. You simply can not go wrong with them.

The salesman we had was a God loving guy like myself. We immediately felt comfortable with him and can rest assured that the good Lord will be blessing our ride ty

They all worked hard to get the SUV I wanted and with all the paperwork I needed it still only took 24 hours to drive off the lot. They were amazing

I stopped by DriveTime Pensacola after stopping at several other dealerships. Initial visit was after hours so I returned with my daughter who needed a vehicle after her car was damaged. We were able to search the lot freely without any pressure from a salesperson, which was perfect from our perspective. Our search ended with 3 vehicles of interest. We were met inside the building where (Brandon, I think) would assist us and offered to move all 3 vehicles to the front of the lot where we could more easily compare. We narrowed our search to 2 and then 1 after test driving the vehicles. We eventually decided to leave but returned the following day after deciding that was the vehicle we wanted. Billy was there the following day and he made our experience of getting the loan, down payment and all documents finalized a very pleasant experience without pressure of purchasing extras and add-ons we didn't want or need. I appreciated the honesty and not for a minute felt he was just there to boost the final loan amount. We drove away with a very nice 2020 Ford Edge that my daughter loves and we are very happy for the experience that we were allowed to look, decide and purchase this car without haggle or pressure. Thank you Billy and Brandon for the best experience and I highly recommend DriveTime if you're shopping for a new or used car.

BEWARE! Read this before you buy. The people were nice however just to make the sale. The car started giving me problems a week after purchase. The engine smoked then the AC went out. The horn is not working. The brakes are going out. The visor falling down with wires hanging out. The oil change light came on. The engine is jumping(my mom asked if it was a stick shift), the alarm system works every once in awhile, the sun roof is ripping. I feel like they sold me a lemon. They said it goes under inspection before they sell them (obviously not by a mechanic). I’m lucky I bought the warranty however I have had to waist so much time calling, scheduling and getting rides from 2 different shops. It’s been in the shop 6 days in a month and it’s not even fixed yet. That’s not including having to schedule the repairs for out of pocket for brakes oil change. Interest is so high I will end up paying 35,000 for a 11,000, 2015 car. I regret this purchase. They say you can return it in 5 days. I trusted them that it was inspected and I didn’t have extra money to get inspected myself. I hope someone can learn from my mistake and save themselves a headache. By the way no one ever followed up from drive time about my purchase and every time I have called my salesman was busy.

I am very upset about the car I purchased. The car has damage to the front end that I couldn’t get a feel for on the short slow speed test drive I was allowed to take. The damage was revealed on a road trip I took a few days after purchasing the car. Because of the length of the road trip I can’t even take advantage of the 1500 mile warranty offered. I will never purchase from them again and warn everyone to refrain from doing so as well.

We bought a car at the Pensacola location in 2021 a 2019 Nissan versa very decent car still in good shape low mileage was told by the salesman that went bridgecrest the finance company after a few years you can refinance and you can bring it back in to upgrade to a better vehicle including they have sent us notices by email to bring it back in we went in to look into it and I believe that we were severely overcharged for this vehicle I am upset the bridgecrest did not tell us that we were being overcharged we are so upset upside down we cannot trade the vehicle all I have to say is buy or beware it was my fault I did not look deeper and if you're buying a car from there make sure you get everything in writing at the salesman says is after 3 years of paying on the vehicle we paid $19,000 for it and we still owe $14.5 even though the salesman when we went today said well if you get it down to $4,000 will upgrade problem is by that time in the loan they won't take it cuz it would be too old just want to warn people I think it's a little bit of a deceptive practice I will pay the car off but I will never use drive time or bridgecrest again the good news is I just looked up class action lawsuits against drive time there are many so people here look them up I am joining one I don't like doing it but I don't like being taken for a ride

I had excellent customer service however 2 weeks later I have A car in the shop due to transmission failure. Car has less than 60k miles. Wait list at repair shop, unable to obtain rental car until diagnoses completed fully and repairs approved. Talked to 4 people and no one will help, not even let me drive a vehicle on lot until I can Obtain rental. It has stranded me and causing issues of course with my employer. Spent over 2 hours talking to people who only pawned me off on other people. Of course salesman was great, it’s the aftermath. They have sold the car and finance companies exact words were “you can make the payments or voluntary do a repossession” warranty company says we will reimburse the rental car but not til the auto repair shop completes their part. I will Also mention, they sent me to one shop who provided initial diagnoses and told warranty company they do not do transmission work. They sent me to second company where I didnt Even feel safe at the facility and the facility says they are so backed up and don’t want me to leave my car. This led me to paying deductible out of pocket and deciding to go to Ford. I’m getting nowhere and I’m sure you can hear the frustration and disappointment. I went To drive time because after my divorce I had To do a repossession of my brand new Yukon Denali which caused me financially to start over. It has been hard and I was So excited to have the opportunity to purchase my vehicle even if I knew I would Have a interest rate from hell. Buyer beware of quality!
