We had such a great experience at did store in Swords, Airside, today thanks to Paul. He was absolutely fantastic - extremely knowledgeable, attentive and genuinely focused on finding the right products for us.
He took his time, listened to what we needed and gave us great options without ever making us feel pressured. His product knowledge and customer service were outstanding.
We honestly don’t often come across someone as good at their job as Paul. He is a real credit to your company and definitely deserves a bonus! 😊
We’ll be coming back to your store for sure, and Paul is a big reason why. What a fantastic team member!

Terrible service with zero accountability. I ordered an item with same day click and collect. Rang the store when I received no notification after a few hours. Was told the item was there and to come in and collect it. Arrived at the store and was told it wasn’t there. I asked if they could deliver it and for them to cover the delivery costs. They agreed and was told it would be delivered on Tuesday. I ordered on Saturday. Received an email on Monday saying the item would be delivered on Tuesday. Nothing arrived. Rang on Wednesday to find out when it would be delivered. The turners cross store were unhelpful and kept me on hold for 17 mins. Had to ring back. Was told I needed to call customer service. They were useless and told me they would ring the store to sort it out and would ring me back. I never received a call back. 7 more times I had to call with no one willing or able to help. Finally got someone who said it would be delivered on Sat. Rang Sat morning just to ensure it was being delivered and of course it would not be delivered on Sat. Still no item with no idea if or when it will arrive. I would avoid placing orders with this company as they have no ability to resolve an issue when it arises. If they can’t get a simple delivery right then I would hate to have a problem with an item as they would never help.

Purchased an American fridge freezer on 02/09/26, online, the item has not been delivered yet so I can not comment on it

I bought this vacuum cleaner from DID and tried it at home. The suction power is very good, and it works well on both carpets and hard floors. It is easy to use and I’m very happy with its performance. Good quality and great value for money. I would definitely recommend it.

I was looking for an ipad for school and didn’t know which one to choose as i’m not a very techy person. Brendan came straight over to me and my mam to ask if we needed any help and helped us pick an ipad that would suit my situation the best and also helped us pick out all of the accessories and everything needed. He was very kind and helpful and made our experience much easier and more enjoyable !

Went to collect my order & ot wasnt there...i was given display item didnt even give me the box

This shop used to be great but now they told me the online stock check for the shop doesn't work, click and collect can take 3 days and you don't get an email or txt when its ready you have to ring the shop to check

I placed an online order with DID Electrical on 28 July for a Shark StainStriker, costing €179.99. When I placed the order, the website showed that the product was in stock and would be ready for collection the following day.

The next day, I received no collection confirmation. When I checked the website again, the product was showing as out of stock. I contacted customer service and was then informed that it would not be available until 22 August. I followed up again when that date arrived, but the product was still not ready. I was subsequently told the expected date had been moved again to 4 September.

During this time, I also called customer service twice and spoke with two different colleagues. On both occasions, I asked for someone to call me back because I did not consider it acceptable that DID had taken full payment for an item advertised for next-day collection, but could not fulfil the order. No one called me back.

My main issue is not only the delay. It is the lack of proactive communication, the repeated changes to the expected date, and the failure to take ownership of the problem. I also raised the question of compensation for the inconvenience and the length of time DID had held my money, but no meaningful resolution was offered.

At the time of writing, more than five weeks after placing and paying for the order, I am still waiting. This has been a very disappointing online shopping experience and falls far below the standard of service I expected from DID Electrical.
