I am extremely disappointed with my experience.

I purchased my wedding dress and an underskirt from the Milton Keynes store after trying on an A-line dress with the underskirt provided by the consultant. I was only offered one type of underskirt and was told they would supply a larger size as the one I had tried on had been stretched from being used for appointments.

Before purchasing, I specifically asked if I could bring the dress back if needed and was told there was a “14-day return policy.” At no point was I told this meant exchange only. It was only after I contacted customer services that I discovered refunds were not available. I feel this should have been made clear when I asked the question.

After my purchase, I took my dress to an independent seamstress for alterations. She advised that the underskirt I had been sold was both the wrong size and not the correct style for my dress, recommending a completely different 2 or 3 hoop underskirt instead. The underskirt has never been worn or altered.

I raised these concerns with customer services. In their response, they acknowledged that I had been supplied with an underskirt that was too large and that the exchange-only policy had not been explained verbally during my visit. Despite this, they refused to refund the unused underskirt and would only offer an exchange.

For such a significant purchase, I expected clearer advice, accurate recommendations and better customer service when genuine concerns were raised. Instead, I have been left with an expensive, unused item that I was advised is unsuitable for my dress and no option of a refund.

While I love my wedding dress, the aftercare and handling of my complaint have left me feeling very disappointed, and unfortunately I cannot recommend the experience based on the customer service I received.

Ik ben heel fijn geholpen door Aylin. Nog geen jurk gekocht omdat het eigenlijk nog te vroeg was, maar ze heeft echt prachtige voor me uitgezocht en had snel door wat we mooi vinden. Ik wil zeker terugkomen als ik klaar ben om er een te kopen.

Chloe was amazing and really went out of her way to find me the perfect dress with limited dresses . We got there in the end and made me very happy . Thank you Chloe xx

After having a terrible experience at another wedding store I thought I’d try another (with dread) . Visited the Wed2be Glasgow store and was immediately put at ease. Megan picked out the loveliest dresses and listened to what I wanted. Decided on a dress but it was a tough decision as they were all great! Thanks Megan

Jos was amazing! She made me feels really comfortable and picked out dresses that matched what I had asked for. I went in just going to try things on and left with my wedding dress! What a lovely experience for my party and myself!

I visited Wed2b Hinckley yesterday with my sister and my best friend. My first experience of looking for a wedding dress, so I was a bit anxious about it, not knowing what to expect or even what to look for. Sophie.C helped me so much I tried on 4 different styles of dresses, she asked me questions about what elements I'd like the dress to have and what my venue was like. She was lovely, calm, patient and had a great eye for detail, and made me feel comfortable and more confident about what I was looking for in a dress. Thank you Sophie for all your help and for basically making it possible for me to find the perfect wedding dress. Sophie suggested I tried the Milton Keynes store to look for a dress that might combine all that I was looking for. So I went there and was helped by Elli who was patient and gave me time to try 4 dresses, thank you for your help Elli, Elli found me a beautiful veil which I can't wait to wear. I left the store buying the most beautiful dress.

Thank you so much to Sophie at the Hinckley store for excellent service, for being so kind and knowledgable about the wedding dresses on offer and for guiding me to find the most stunning dress.

In a day I managed to find my beautiful wedding dress thanks to the staff at Wed2b Hinckley and Milton Keynes. You're all amazing! Can't believe I've got such a gorgeous dress.

Bei meiner Trauzeugin wurde die falsche Größe vom Kleid geliefert und sie hatte sich mit ihnen darauf geeinigt dass die Änderung bezüglich kleiner nähen des Kleides auf ihre Kosten übernommen wird. Sie hat bisher immer noch kein Geld erhalten und rennt nun dort hinter her. Ich würde das nächste Mal nicht nochmal bei ihnen einkaufen.

I cannot recommend Grace enough at Wed2B Brighton! It was my first experience trying on dresses so I went in open minded with a real loose idea of what I wanted. Grace was so friendly from the get go and made me feel completely at ease. She seemed to know what I wanted before I did! Everything was explained and really clear. It was an emotional day for me and my entourage but Grace was completely unphased by that and gave me as much time as I needed. I wasn't expecting to find my dress that day but after trying a few on, Grace brought over her 'wildcard' and that was it! So I said yes to the dress and owe it all to Grace. Thank you! Will definitely recommend this store for staff, service and also beautiful dresses!

The member of staff, Jazz, who helped me find and try my wedding dress made my whole experience fun and easy. She was easy to talk to, helpful and incredibly kind. She was also very knowledgeable about the dresses and even picked out a perfect veil for my dress. I'm very greatful for her help, (so if you happpen to be reading this, thank you very much 🥰🥰).

I had an amazing experience in the Edinburgh shop this weekend. I didn’t have a style in mind but had key body parts I wanted covered/ not fully on show. I was brought some amazing dresses. We then discussed the parts of the dresses I liked to then find me the one!! Such an amazing experience!

Very good experience with Betsy, so pleased I found my dress! So patient, kind and knows her job very well!

I went to wed2b earlier on in the year and tried on some lovely dresses. I loved one of them but just couldn't see the end result as I am 4ft11 so the dresses swamped me. I seen some dresses online and thought I would go in an try them on. They had 1 of them in store but they found some similar to the look I was after. The lovely Ellie was my lady. I tried on 4 dresses but fell in love with the first one I tried on that day. I could really see the finishing result after trying on 31 dresses in total. All the staff are lovely and you really do get the best experience, nothing is too much trouble. I would definitely recommend wed2b.

Great customer service

Wonderful service today in your branch in The Forge, Glasgow from Kiea, she made a nervous mature bride feel fabulous, she listened and chose styles suitable for my shape, I said yes to the dress and can’t wait to wear it.

Betsy was absolutely lovely! Really made me feel at ease as I was admittedly so nervous and body conscious coming into the appointment. But she listened intently to what I described my ideal dress as and literally the first dress she picked for me was spot on! She was so patient with me, answering all my questions, even with a sore throat bless her! I could not have asked for a better consultant and she just made the experience that much more special and personal! Thank you for hyping me up and helping me pick my wedding dress! Norwich Wed2be.

Had a wonderful experience with Wed2Be Norwich. I totally wasn’t expecting to take a dress home on the day, but I found the one after trying 4 dresses on.

Betsy, who provided the consultation and chose my dresses out, was very friendly, attentive and made the whole experience for both me and my mum. I went in with an idea of what I thought I wanted and ended up with something I probably never would have chose on the hanger myself and that’s thanks to Betsy asking key questions on my plans and each dress tried on and deciphering what elements I liked/didn’t like until we landed on the one. Super impressed by the whole customer experience, from first entering the door, closing the sale with lots of added touches and lovely notes inside the dress box, recommendations of seamstresses, through to after-sales with a personalised email summarising all the dresses I tried on that day in order of my ranking. Couldn’t recommend enough
