The Private Dental Group Arvostelua 

My experience working here was extremely disappointing. I did not feel supported when I raised concerns, and I felt they were handled in a one-sided and unprofessional manner. The working environment had a significant impact on my wellbeing and ultimately led me to leave.

After 3 years during my employment, I regularly observed conversations where patients were discussed in ways that I felt were inappropriate and judgmental. As someone who believes patients deserve privacy and respect, I found this very concerning.

I also experienced a culture where the focus often seemed to be on the business rather than the wellbeing of staff. I frequently heard comments suggesting that the business would always put itself first, which affected morale.

Based on my own experience, I also observed conduct by senior staff that I found inappropriate and that contributed to an uncomfortable working environment. I did not feel concerns raised by staff were handled fairly or taken seriously.

During my time there, I had concerns about the working environment, including the condition and maintenance of some equipment and the cleanliness of some clinical areas. I also experienced periods where issues with the air conditioning made the working environment very uncomfortable. I raised concerns about health and safety but did not feel they were adequately addressed.

In addition, I observed recurring operational and administrative issues, including suppliers or accounts being placed on hold due to payments not being made on time. From my perspective, this contributed to an environment that felt disorganised and unreliable.

There is so many more factors which are so wrong by not only this dental practice but the whole private dental group which would be too long to name everything.

i’m highly disappointed in this practice/company that i hope no one else makes the same mistake i did of staying so long.

I hope the practice reflects on these issues and makes improvements for both its staff and patients to avoid a continuous high turnaround of staff.

My husband and I had an appointment for a check up and to see the Hygienist for 10.45. When we arrived we were told the Dentist was running late. I went to see the Hygienist straight away. When I came back my husband had already seen the Dentist for his check up and I assumed I would soon be seen. We waited for an hour and a quarter. No-one came to tell us what was happening and we could not waite any longer and were leaving. The Receptionist apologised and asked me if I would like to come back that afternoon, I declined. They offered to make me an alternative appointment, and at this point in time I have not been back. When this Company took over, we were asked which dentist and which hygienist we would like to see. My husband had made an appointment for our next visit in 6 months. When he looked at it, it was for a different dentist and a different hygienist. He rang the dentist and ws told, didn't we know our dentist will be on maternity leave? Also,, if we wanted our same hygienist, it would have to be a different date. He was told the new appointment would be confirmed by text, it was not. He spoke to another receptionist today and asked what had happened on the day of our appointment. He was told the dentist decided to see another patient before your wife and they were obviously still with her when we left at 12.30 ?? A proper apology and an explanation would have been nice !!
