Jacqueline at the West Ealing branch was absolutely incredible in arranging my late father’s funeral. From my initial telephone enquiry, she immediately made me feel at ease and offered genuinely personal and thoughtful advice from the outset.

I arranged the funeral on behalf of my mother and sisters, and Jacqueline made what was an incredibly difficult experience so much easier to navigate. She was exceptionally kind and compassionate towards us, both when visiting the branch and when seeing my late father in the chapel of rest.

My father’s funeral was a beautiful day and a fitting tribute to his life. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Jacqueline and the gentlemen who assisted us on the day for their professionalism, kindness and care throughout.

From the first phone call, Gina was my first point of contact when Mum had passed away, I went into the this is not real so Gina made arrangements and listened to me when I asked for Mum to be left until 8pm so my siblings could arrive, at 7.50 the guys arrived and waited for me, Mum was respectfully taken by the staff and I was informed where she was going and the next steps, for the next four weeks whilst waiting for a date for the crematorium Gina worked with us to make sure everything was taken care of, Gina became my friend and I can't thank her enough for all her hard work, care and support, the service deserves more than 5 ***** and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Lodge Brothers in the future, the day arrived and I knew that Mum would be with us right on time Duncan and his team arrived, the service was just as we wished for, no rushing because it was a wet & rainy Friday Afternoon, they even came back as a mobile phone was left in the limo!
The aftercare service has been given to us checking in on Monday and arranging the collection of Mum and getting our keepsakes ready for me to collect.

The viewing of Mum was so graciously prepared, and Angela gave us the time and space to spend with her in those precious final moments prior to the burial. She quickly gauged the sort of farewell we wanted to give him and made suggestions and recommendations that matched our wishes. Nothing felt rushed and when we requested a few changes to the plan she accommodated them without any difficulty. Her availability was excellent. The celebrant, Joanna, supported us throughout in the same manner as Shobha. And thanks are also due to the Funeral manager, who supported us on the day, and to the florist for the beautiful fresh flowers, which again reflected just the effect we wanted to achieve. The funeral was exactly what we wanted and went off without a hitch. I would highly recommend Lodge Bros.
