Prompt and pain free care at a reasonable price.
Brian was friendly and knowledgeable. He took a full history of the issue plus any other health problems that may have led to, or be affected by these.
He prepared the site well, ensuring it was clean and would be free from pain when injected.
Prior to the injection Brian scanned the area to ensure the problem was as I had outlined. He was able to tell and show me (on the monitor) that there was also a small tear in a tendon, which could have contributed to my pain.
The injection was painless and within seconds, I was pain free.
Brian advised me that the pain may return until it settled in a few days. He told me what I should do in terms of exercise, to rebuild strength in the area.
I needed to check something out with Brian about 2 weeks later in relation to something else. He returned my call promptly and reassured me.
A £50 deposit was required before the appointment, with the remainder paid after treatment. I was provided with a report of what treatment had taken place.
You’ll need to beware as I couldn’t find Lidl (Romford) referred to as place to park.

Highly recommended pain relief
After waiting in pain for several weeks for an injection appointment to come up at my GP surgery, I heard about the clinic at Canterbury and decided I could wait no longer. I made an appointment and attended the clinic a few days later. I'm so glad I did as Brian diagnosed my pain as tendonitis in my hip using ultrasound and gave a guided injection. Almost immediately I was able to walk more comfortably and within 3 days was pain free! Brian was friendly and informative and made the whole experience as pleasant as that sort of thing can be. I'm extremely grateful to him and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the service.

Steroid injection for Plantar Fasciitis …
When I first arrived for my appointment at 7pm, the place was shut, I phoned up and the phonw message said was closed. Luckily I did not just go home. I manged to see someone and ask them, but they hadn't even heard of the injection clinc, but said they could let me into the building, I looked around but nothing was open or and directions to the clinc. I decided to go up stairs and tried some doors but all locked, but then someone came along and was looking for me, and took me to the room. When I went I I was very concerned as it was only one room and one person I there.The Dr was although very helpful and understanding, he went through the whole process and showed me from the ultrasound what the issue was , and advised me on the next step. I decided to have the injection done.
My concerns.
No communication on how to get into the clinc.
Just one room.
Not told before that if I didn't go through with the injection, it would still cost me £175 for the consultation.
No aftercare instructions ie ,when to rest ,walk ,exercise.
Didn't fully go through what type of steroid was being put into my heel.
I am 6 days on from the injection and not much improvement .

We are, however, pleased that you found the clinician helpful and that your assessment, ultrasound findings and treatment options were clearly explained during the consultation.For evening appointments, patients are sent instructions to wait in their car on arrival so that the clinician can meet them and provide access to the building. This is usually communicated via e-mail or text message. However, after reading your feedback, we are re-reviewing how these instructions are communicated to ensure the arrangements are as clear as possible.We have multiple clinical sites, and our model is to provide cost-effective care, therefore we cannot operate from multi-story mega clinics. However, the clinic operates from a dedicated private consultation room within the premises, and we have a robust clinical governance structure which is audited regularly.
The £175 fee covers the specialist consultation, clinical assessment and diagnostic ultrasound examination and therefore remains payable whether or not the patient proceeds with an injection. Normally this consultation fees are explained to our patients during triage which might have been overlooked in your case. However considering our cost to standard market rate, this is deemed ‘reasonable’ and on a fairer side.
During your telephone triage, you requested a steroid injection and booked an appointment for one. This was discussed and agreed upon at your consultation. If you are concerned about ambiguity regarding the type of injection, please note that there are no different types of steroids available in UK, the treatment we provide is a standard steroid injection as discussed.
During the consultation, the clinician discussed the ultrasound findings, the option of not proceeding with an injection and awaiting planned further investigations, as well as the relevant risks and expected benefits. The risks of injection, post-injection care and appropriate activity modification were discussed as part of the standard consent process before treatment was undertaken.
It is important to note that a steroid injection does not always provide immediate relief. Both the degree of improvement and the timing of response can vary between individuals. Most patients experience benefit within two to three days, though in some cases delayed improvement may be seen over three to four weeks. If you have not experienced any benefit from the injection after four weeks, please do not hesitate to contact our clinical team, and we will be happy to guide you with further care options.

I attended the clinic on Sunday 16th…
I attended the clinic on Sunday 16th August after making enquiries on the Friday about getting a steroid injection for a frozen shoulder. I saw Dr Sameer Gohir who made me feel at ease as soon as I entered the room. I found him to be very thorough with the examination and the scan he preformed, after deciding to have the steroid injection he then guided the injection by ultrasound which I honestly can say that I really didn’t feel any pain whatsoever. It’s now been 48 hours and what a relief my shoulder now feels. I highly recommend joint injection clinic and would use again if needed.

Dr Sam Gohor was amazing!! I was seen for my gout attack on my ankle within 24 hours and no one has ever explained how it happens in so much detail before. The appointment was very insightful and quick and managed to give me immediate pain relief. Can’t recommend Sam enough very good patient care and aftercare along with writing a letter for my GP. No pain the next day and I can walk again very happy!

After recovering from ankle surgery…
After recovering from ankle surgery visited joint injection clinic in Dartford. Mr Muhammad instantly put me at ease. The exercises and treatment has made my ongoing recovery much easier.
