Our daughter developed school avoidance due to anxiety when she was in 9th grade. The district was not helpful and we were left with trying to figure out where she could go that would meet her needs. Then we found Fusion Academy in Englewood, NJ and it has been a complete blessing! Our daughter is thriving academically with the 1:1 learning, she is advocating for herself on a daily basis, and every teacher is kind, supportive and flexible. Her academic confidence is growing and we couldn't be happier with our choice. For anyone considering Fusion Academy, we couldn't recommend it highly enough!

Fusion has been a fantastic experience for our son and our family. The focus on each child as an individual allows them to learn and thrive. The teachers and staff at the Englewood, NJ location are the best of the best.

I've been so happy with my daughter's education since she started at Fusion. Each teacher has really gotten to know her in order to capitalize on her strengths and to build her up in areas of weakness.

We were experiencing issues with our son and attending high school. He had lost confidence in himself and his ability to learn. He was lost. We saw Hannah and at once it was like a rock had been lifted off our shoulders. It has been two years and my son has excelled i to an honor student, excited about going to college

The Fusion Academy’s structure for education and scheduling has been a wonderful format for our child’s growth. The individualized format allows teachers to fine tune the educational process to the needs of each child’s uniqueness. The teachers and staff are always available to answer our questions, and daily email reports provide us with a sense of security regarding our child’s progress. We could to be happier.

Fusion Academy has been life changing for our daughter. Starting at a very young age, she struggled in the public school setting due to anxiety which morphed into school avoidance. She was forced into a therapeutic school setting that did more harm than good.

Today, she has medical issues in addition to her anxiety. Fusion is the only school that can accommodate her needs while also providing a great education.

Their individualized approach to learning helped her thrive and enjoy learning again. She has always struggled with math but is now able to explain and teach me how to solve the problems she is given for homework. The teachers tailor the lessons to her individual needs in a one-on-one setting. Every day, they go over the material with her and make sure she is comfortable with what she has learned, before moving on to the next unit. This kind of flexibility paired with the quality of the instructors simply cannot be found anywhere else.

Knowing that she will not fall behind helps to relieve her anxiety and allows her to learn and stay engaged. Parents receive daily progress reports that outline in detail the school day.

We truly feel blessed that we found Fusion and are so appreciative to the staff of the Englewood school. Since day one, they have welcomed our daughter with professionalism and compassion. They really go above and beyond to ensure her academic success. Enrolling our daughter at Fusion was the best decision we could ever make for her.

My son was really not interested in reading, but his English teacher worked with him to find material that would be interesting to him, and it really resonated with him. We still recommend the book!

We really appreciate the strong leadership and teachers at Fusion (Englewood). They are committed to really understanding the needs of each student and know how to recognize and celebrate progress. The teachers are also so skilled at engaging students in learning, making sure the students understand they are part of a community, and really teaching in a way that fits modern society.

There is not enough words to express our thanks to Fusion Academy in Englewood, to Hannah Degenova, the school director and all the teachers and administrators we interacted with. Our teenage son attended remediation classes/summer school at Fusion to catch up academically. It was the most productive time he ever spent in any school beforehand.
The academic progress was incredible and the whole experience was 100% positive and fun. Our son loved every moment of it.

Three months sgo, she transferred to fusion in Englewood, New Jersey.
After a few weeks at Fusion, she said “it’s better and I’m learning now”.

The comfort of knowing that your child is learning in a safe and nurturing environment that suits their individual needs is reassuring to know as a parent.

We really like the school. The teachers are great and there is enthusiasm in learning. I would prefer more interactive engagements between students though, more trips, less gadgets - they are not controlled well.
