We are the importers in UNITED KINGDOM for the Franchi seed brand, the oldest family run seed company in the world but we are also passionate about the provenance and regionality of everything we sell. At Seeds of Italy you can find: Seeds / Provisions / Cookshop / Preserving / Tuscan Perfumery / Gifts / Italian novelties / Tuscan Wood Burning Oven Showroom. We were found to be the most ethical major packet seed brand by Ethical Consumer Magazine and we are also Vegetarian Society and Vegan approved and part of Slow Food UK. Franchi is a family run company and we value our customers very much which is probably why we're still in business after 7 generations in the same family since 1783! We are producers of rare and heirloom vegetable seeds with provenance.

Prompt and Great Packaging.

I’ve already sent the firm an email telling them how impressed I was with the processing of my order.
Order was dealt with very quickly and I cannot begin to tell you how impressed I was with how my items were wrapped, firstly in a box then the outer wrapping of plastic which was then securely taped all the way round. DHL were very good too with info on the actual delivery and a nice man personally handed me my parcel.

Authentic Italian commodities at a good price.

My order was a box of goodies as a birthday present for my son, who is a bit of a foodie.
As last year, he received the order in good time and it was well packed. The foodstuffs were absolutely wonderful: superb quality and truly authentic.
Having bought items for myself with a similar experience, I highly recommend this supplier.

Very helpful and packets bursting with goodness

I first came across seeds of Italy at a WI conference It was a very interesting talk all about growing veg from seeds. As an novice to growing I found normal packets wanting. SoI packets are full and fresh. This is my first year of growing with them and the polytunnel is bursting with plants. I also found Seds of Italy staff and website very informative and keep me informed as to when to sow the seeds.
