Best Price Guarantee is a lie.
Best Price Guarantee is a lie.
They have a whole page on their website that guarantees to beat any price.
"We will honour your request and guarantee you an improved offer".
I asked them to and they wouldn't.
Nearly £400 more expensive for 1 camera.
Edit after reply:
You wouldn't be clear on the use of the camera as you didn't ask.
I have now purchased the camera at a much better price and it will be used for the security of one of my companies. If its any good I will be buying a few more from a trustworthy company.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I'm sorry to hear that there’s been a misunderstanding regarding the intention behind our Best Price Guarantee. Some of the points raised in your review aren’t entirely accurate, but please understand that we have always acted in good faith, as we do with every customer.
Firstly, our Best Price Guarantee is aimed at businesses, so as a non-business customer it may not have applied. We also state on the page "Please note that acceptance of a Best Price Guarantee request will be at the sole discretion of the directors of NW Security Group Limited...". It is rare that we don't accept, but it happens.
Secondly, we were not clear on the use case for the camera (Axis Q6318-LE), which was designed for professional security control room operations and with very specific features for this purpose, and not for domestic use. NW works to responsible and ethical business principles, so is our job to ensure that cameras are used appropriately and for the right use cases.
So, clearly, our Best Price Guarantee is not a lie and is not misleading, and we were acting in your interests at all times.
However, we appreciate that the website did not make some of this clear, and we understand your frustration. As a result, we have made changes to the website to reflect this better.

Whatever I’m buying from NW, an Axis device e-licence or a top line camera, the service is consistently the same; friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and highly professional. No hesitation in recommending Network Webcams to fellow ip camera buffs.

Ian at Network Webcams was incredibly helpful in discussing my needs which were not necessarily standard. I was looking to buy cameras for very specific wildlife monitoring needs and he was able to spend the time answering my queries and suggesting alternatives to the model I had in mind which was soon to be replaced with different models.

service and support that is second to none
The company provide a great range of products at a competitive price, their sales department are helpful and knowledgeable and their support team are incredibly helpful and in most cases have been chasing me for a response; truly a breath of fresh air.

From advice to sale
I called their tech support and was given advice about which Axis camera to choose then passed to sales to buy it. All very smooth and the camera has been working perfectly.

Refused to provide returns information
Refused to provide returns information, refused to refund when received because "the box had been opened". They even tried to persuade me to use the unit (after I said I didn't want it - which I didnt) so they could refuse a refund, refused to provide return details, I sent it back to their HQ and they said no refund because I opened the box. ... So if a customer opens the box and look at what you bought and decide against it then they wont refund you! Disgraceful attitude.
If NW Webcams decide to reply to this review they should confirm that is a customer opens a box from an online purchase then NW webcam s will refuse a refund even if the unit is 100% unused.
