Ordered mint Turkish delight and it was…

Ordered mint Turkish delight and it was the worse I have ever tasted it seemed to be packed in flour rather than sugar and the lack of a mint taste was really noticeable. Asked for a refund as its inedible but one not given. Thanks for the response but the customer service is hopeless, basically u have created a disgruntled customer by not refunding 16 quid which to me seems stupid but hey uts nit my business.....

Thank you for sharing your opinion, though we’re disappointed to hear about your dissatisfaction. We would like to clarify that authentic Turkish Delight is not solely dusted with sugar. The powder used for dusting is a traditional blend of cornflour and icing sugar, consistent with authentic recipes.

We responded promptly to your concerns and explained why we could not offer a refund for an opened food item, in line with food safety regulations. While we regret that our Turkish Delight was not to your personal taste, the overwhelmingly positive reviews from our customers reflect the general satisfaction with our products.

You mentioned in your email that you are not a Turkish Delight expert, and it’s possible that your past experiences were with non-authentic variations. Our product remains true to its traditional roots, which can differ significantly from mass-market interpretations.

This review seems quite harsh, stemming from dissatisfaction over not receiving a refund for a product that met our high-quality standards.

We hope that your reviews across various platforms have brought you some resolution. We stand by the quality of our products and the service we provide.

I really enjoyed the box

I really enjoyed the box. My favourite by far was the pistachio and rose petals. One of the delights was a bit too dense for my choice but the flavour was still great.

Marveli have great range of the Turkish…

Marveli have great range of the Turkish Delight we love. It's delivered quickly and is always of a high standard. It has become a Christmas treat for us and we intend to keep up the tradition of buying from them at least once a year.

All Pre-purchase Enquiries Ignored

I really wanted to buy Turkish delight from this company as gifts for friends. As they mentioned packaging the ordered products together on their website (I wanted to buy 6 x 500g of Turkish delight), I attempted to contact them numerous times via their online form, and also by email, to ask about this. All messages were ignored. Sadly, I do not feel confident to order from this company. As they did not reply to my enquiries before I make a purchase, I have no faith they would respond if there were any issue with any purchases. Phone number did not connect.

In response to your reply which says I did not email you, as well as the other times I attempted to contact you via your website contact form and trying to phone you, please see the end of this message for the date, time and email message.

My review mentions that I really did want to place an order of Turkish Delight from your company.
I did…! It all looks amazing.
I am disappointed that my repeated attempts to reach you via your website contact form, email and calling the number listed on your website did not result in me reaching you, as I am sure I would have placed an order if I had.

As I was a first time customer to you, I was not confident to place the order.

Your existing customers will not feel this way, and some new customers might not either.

My review is not an attempt to discredit your products in any way.
You have positive reviews about this.
It is simply my experience.

Thank you for your feedback, and we’re sorry to hear about your experience. As a small artisan business, the holiday season is an incredibly busy time for us, which unfortunately resulted in a delay in responding to your two inquiries on December 9th and 10th via our contact form (not email).

We’d like to emphasize that our website is straightforward, and the information you were seeking regarding packaging is readily available there. Additionally, our phone number has recently changed, and the updated number is available on Google and reachable during normal working hours. We are actively working on improving our response times during peak periods to provide a better experience for everyone.

Lovely

The website was so easy to use and there was, so much choice. The price was amazing and their delivery was really quick. The products itself tastes lovely, the blend of flavours comes together really well.

Tastes amazing

I am pregnant and I have been craving for Turkish Delight so bad I’m just so glad I foud this site 🤩 it tastes exactly the same as the ones I used to buy while on holiday in Turkey! Very fresh, well packaged and arrived quickly too. Will definitelly order more!
