Awful,delivery through Evri to myself ok but returns process is ridiculous no thought for older people,only QR codes. Delivery to my mother via Evri very disappointing as delayed by 2-5 days because they say they are busy. Get a grip for goodness sake.
M&S Home Insurance - be careful, its not really M&S
Awful experience with their home insurance. Didn't realise that other than taking your money , M&S have no involvement and deliberately won't help resolve any issues. Passed from M&S, to Axa insurance to ARC Legal to Irwin Mitchell - all of whom were awful. Didn't answer phones, return calls or emails. I had paid for legal expenses insurances for decades and yet when I needed it the service wasn't there. Eventually I got help elsewhere and got over 50k - if I had relied on M&S legal expenses I would have got nothing. Please dont waste your money or time go elsewhere. It's a hard lesson to learn when you are having other problems.

Called to cancel car insurance as I sold my car, had paid over a years payments to them, they want £73 to cancel.

Absolutely hopeless insurance company. Everything is automated. Had to wait a month for a Building Inspector to come out. Home Emergency company carried out a repair in entirely the wrong place and still it counted as a claim despite my complaint which was never addressed properly.

1 star for the two people kind enough in the m&s pet insurance claims dept to let me know my complaint emails were being passed on. It was like pulling out teeth which is ironic as my dog's teeth are not covered by my insurance policy. That much I knew already which is why I was able to argue I should have had my claim for removal of an abscess in my dog's cheek accepted. It was probably a grass seed. Instead they tried to fob me off with the excuse it was dental work. Anyway, after a few slightly shirty emails, I will be sent a cheque in the post (the old-fashioned way) and for that I feel vindicated.

Ordered 2 T shirts from the same range, pure cotton Everyday, in different colours, size 14.
When they arrived in M&S green outer packaging, inside, one Tshirt was loose, the other in a plastic bag with a tear in it. The loose one looked very small compared to the other one. Placing on top of each other, at least 4 inches smaller overall!
I assumed with no bag on it, it could well have been a previous return for the same reason I've now got to send if back! BTW, my second M&S return within a week.
How can the sizes vary so much in the same range? Where's the quality control?

M&S car insurance.. in a word , Don't . You are actually not getting insured by M&S , but by a company called COVEA , and had I read the trust pilot reviews on COVEA I wouldn't have touched them with a bargepole .
When you have a claim , the nice person at M&S sympathises with you , tells you not to worry and gives you a number for Covea. Who then use every trick in the book to reduce the payout.
If you are looking for car insurance and think you can trust a reputable name like Marks and Spencer, you are wrong . They are just a broker , you need to look at who the underwriter is and check reviews on them .

I used to love shopping with Marks & Spencer but now it is horrendous. Their Customer Services is a complete joke. I have been waiting on a jacket which I had ordered along with trousers and a waistcoat. They advised they would let me know when it came back into stock. I recently sent them a request for an update on the jacket as I have only 2 days left to return the other items if they can’t provide the jacket. So far no communication from M&S. looks like I will have to return the goods due to their incompetence. After that I will close my account and shop elsewhere. Courtesy seems to be a word they don’t know.
M&S Cafe, The Avenue, Bracknell they gave us food poisoning.
My friend and I on the 9th May met in Bracknell to do some shopping and had a vegetarian toasted sandwich and a coffee each at the M&S cafe at The Avenue, Bracknell. It didn’t feel right from the beginning their dish washer had broken down, so we were given paper plates, cups and unwrapped wooden knives and forks. We both got very bad food poisoning my friend has been receiving cancer treatment and found it difficult to recover from the food poisoning. Fifteen pound compensation spit between the two of us! What are we supposed to do with that, go and have a cake and cup of tea and get food poisoning again? No thanks, I won’t ever again eat in an M&S cafe.

The team leader was rude and unprofessional, pretend to have reason when one of his colleagues show him the mistake and he still pretending to be in reason.

Poor Customer Service
Even 1 star is too much for this company. There was pilling on the jumper I bought. Then, I reported the issue to customer service along with the pictures of the jumper and asked them to contact me to examine the jumper in more detail. I paid the shipping fee out of my own pocket and sent the sweater to their address. Then they sent the sweater back to me, saying that we could not see any pilling on the sweater. Later, when I reported the issue to customer service, they were not helpful and advised me that you could use a lint remover. It is a company that absolutely cares about customer satisfaction and does not want to help. You should think 3 or 4 times when shopping from this company.
Terrible service
I ordered some clothes via a gift card, so annoyed the clothes basically were just thrown in a green postage bag, all creased, and to add insult to injury one of my refunds went back onto the gift card, but I can't locate the gift card that I did online, as I had to transfer from Love to shop to m&s. So I am £20 out of pocket but most of all so angry about how my clothes arrived, it was as if someone grabbed them from clothes rail and shoved them into a parcel bag, why were they not sealed in a clear bag folded first. NOT GOOD ENOUGH m&s and your delivery is a Joke, waited 7 days for parcel to arrive, when I order from other stores they are a much higher service and have more care!!

Normally I get a pretty good service online from M&S. However, not with my last two orders on 20th April 2024. I waited and waited for my order to be despatched for which the money had been taken from my bank account. Finally, after phoning and using their chat service and emails, I was advised FOUR times that the two missing items from two separate orders were only delayed. However today 30/4/24 I received an email to say they were now cancelled as NO STOCK. How a company the size of M&S does not know on point of order that items are out of stock is beyond me. Especially as when I spoke to anyone about the delay, I was always advised that there was just a delay with dispatching as their system had gone down. Therefore I was rather perplexed to receive an email today saying both items were now CANCELLED DUE TO HAVING NO STOCK. Have then, M&S been taking customers money knowing that they had NO STOCK? I will now have to return the matching jacket as it is POINTLESS without the trousers. I order a lot of items at M&S but this fiasco has now put me off. I was advised I could try in store but as I told the ladies today unless you are size 16 or above you cannot go in to any M&S store and pick up items. I have tried Kilmarnock, Ayr, Silverburn and Braehead and none of these stores stock trousers or jackets in sizes 8 right through to 12. If you want size 16 or above then you are fortunate enough to be able to shop in store. I would love to shop in store as I do prefer to see the items and feel the quality but it is impossible in any of these stores if you are a size 8 through 12. I am seriously considering never ordering anything online again at M&S due to this as really they have taken customers money without having the STOCK AVAILABLE to fulfil orders. I paid 10 days ago for my items and now have to wait a further 5 days for a refund due to M&S cancelling the order.
