Do not waste your money on Career Foundry, and especially on their Web Dev program. It's a copy-paste exercise, their tutors and mentors must not be paid very well, as they are extremely useless and have little time for you.

Of the study group I was in, we've all now given up on switching careers.

I had fun learning, but could have learnt the same at a fraction of the cost elsewhere on the internet.

The money back guarantee is of course pretty much impossible to get.

I've been enjoying this course and feel like there is a lot of support if you have questions or want to speak to your tutor or mentor. It is a very hands-on approach, you complete tasks after each lesson which is very digestible and easy to follow along. You can go at your own pace, which is what I need while working full time.

My time with this boot camp has been great, the program is pretty detailed and gives you the time to learn a lot of different skills that you'll be able to use in the workforce. I have such a great tutor and mentor, both are individuals who clearly want me to succeed and do my best. Whenever I need help, it's easy to get in contact with my tutor or to reach out to peers taking the course with me. I enjoy the independence the program offers as it encourages students to use problem-solving skills as you would in the real workforce.

It is well written course but I found it really hard to understand tasks and apply after spending hours as a beginner.
When I asked help from the mentor, all he does is telling me to search and watch more videos. There is not much support out there.
It is impossible to complete tasks when you have already job.
When you are signing up, they sound like there will be lots of support.
Job guarantee is only if you can finish the course in 10-months which gives you a lot of pressure.
Waste of a lot of money.

The material is very interesting and uses lots of examples so it’s easy to wrap my head around the concepts. I like that I had the choice of two capstone projects so I can tailor my course experience to my career goals and previous experience. The platform is user-friendly and I feel I have the support I need to learn. Tons of resources and thoughtful feedback on each task. Would highly recommend CF!

Career Foundry is setup where there are multiple achievements. Each achievement teaches you a specific topic which is crucial for that role. At the end of each achievement is a project that requires you to use the skill set you have learned. Building up to the project are exercises - each one building you up in knowledge on that topic. These exercises generally take 1-2 hours to read through, then 1-3 hours to do each task required; Of course the timing will be very individualized. If you are doing this course I would recommend you truly understand each exercise as you are doing them, not just to power through the task. At the end when you do each project record a video detailing what you went through and how you got the results that you do. This will serve as content for employers but also for yourself. Careerfoundry is a very good online school, but its effectiveness will be completely up to the individual.

I enjoyed the product manager program from CareerFoundry so far. One of its standout features is the unique opportunity it provides to forge connections with industry experts/mentors, fostering invaluable relationships. Furthermore, the program nurtures a vibrant slack community where students can engage and collaborate with like-minded peers.

From a personal standpoint, the program's most prized attribute, in my opinion, is the unwavering support it extends when it comes to navigating the job market. Recognizing that networking can be a weak point for me, the guidance and assistance provided by career specialists have been instrumental in boosting my confidence and making me better equipped for the job search.

I truly enjoyed studying with CareerFoundry. I thoroughly selected this bootcamp looking at prices, reviews, course material, and I’m very happy with my decision.

I like the way classes are structured and how material is presented, especially all of the additional resources and recently new suggestions on how to incorporate AI into course work.

I also like all of the communication channels with my tutor, mentor and student advisors. I also like that they encourage interactions with other students.

The only thing I would like to see more is more video instructions especially with it comes to practicing and developing certain skills within platforms.

Other than that the course is truly great and I would certainly recommend it.

CareerFoundry gave me skills and resources to thrive in a new field.

Amazing experience with the mentors and tutors!

I'm currently on month two out of ten on the UX Design Program. I'm learning a lot about being a UX Designer and the exercises provide thorough information on the various aspects of being a UX Designer. The tasks really break down key points of the design process and help take you through the project you'll be doing. There's a lot to learn but Career Foundry gives you all the tools necessary to understand all the new information thrown at you. I come from a completely different background/career (BS in Animal Science, full-time Research Technician) and I was scared trying to learn a brand new career field. But I've enjoyed learning the field thus far and look forward to my future career in this fascinating industry.

Very happy with Career Foundry. I have learned so much and applying what I have learned to real world tasks makes the learning experience that much richer. My tutors and mentors have also made this experience incredible.

I love the experience and the UX design course at Career Foundry. it's very well structured and guided. You don't feel alone because you can connect with the slack community and the student advisors are very supportive.

I have been really enjoying the boot camp! I am utilizing Career Foundry's boot camp, YouTube tutorials, and self teaching via learning courses. While I am learning things through other methods just fine, I really would have experienced issues with staying on track and focusing in general without Career Foundry's course design. The structure it provides gives my self learning a very supportive backbone and direction. Most invaluable though, is the access to a mentor. I find that I can write down questions throughout the week, from my learning, and they are sooooo friendly about it. The amount of details they provide and the guidance and advice alone is worth the course fee. I am almost halfway through and have not regretted any of it :)!

Complete waste of $$ when there are low cost and free programs available that are far superior in value to what CareerFoundry has to offer. The tutoring and support is almost nonexistent. Every time you ask a question you will most likely receive a link to a youtube video or website. You are paying $6000 to basically learn on your own which you can do just by watching and following youtube tutorials in the field. The certification is worthless when it comes to getting a job in the field. Better off investing in an accredited college or university program. Feedback, support, and communication methods in general are subpar.

This is an honest review from a graduate who finished in May, 2023. Sorry, but it's definitely not the quality I expected. The job guarantee is a joke, forget it. You never get your money back. I am very disappointed after the program when I realized how little value the certification has on the job market and among employers. The company has a fantastic Marketing team, but that's it. Don't believe everything they post on their website and blogs. It's just not true. The value is zero after graduation. Nobody cares about the projects built and you won't find a job, not even for under 20k€ a year. The course itself was okay, but the investment stands in no relation to the job market and present situation out there. Many fresh devs have no other choice than to take a voluntary internship (if somebody hires you). You will by 99% don't get a job, your applications will be mainly ignored, if you don't have a computer science degree and a few years of relevant work experience as a developer yet. Mentor and tutor support is also very poor, although after three changes my third mentor was superb. I was just lucky. Otherwise you will probably get stuck in the course at some point as it gets difficult for at least 1,5 years if no longer. It's impossible to finish the course as a career changer without support from the assiged tutor in 3-6 month. For those who have already completed an acedemic degree in the field of IT with 1-2 years of relevant work experience, yes, it's gonna be a terrific course to sharpen your skills and specialize in. Otherwise, please keep your fingers away. 9000€ for the bootcamp is too pricy, rather invest in a university degree or consider another choice, if there's no time management issue. Don't believe stories like a taxi driver can make it in 3-9 month to a highly in demand Frontend or Fullstack Developer. It's not true.

The course has been teaching me everything I need to learn and grow as a data analyst. Since I joined it has been more of an advantage as I feel comfortable in doing tasks.

CareerFoundry meets my needs as a parent who is making a transition in a career. Fully online and self-paced. Compared to other bootcamps I researched, the cost to go to CareerFoundry is one of the lowest. One thing I have enjoyed the most is the Student Advisor team. All-around, a great option!
